‘Plastic Time’ is a 5-track EP that fuses Electro and melancholic sonorities.  The 13th release of the French label will be pressed at 300 copies and released late February 2019.  It includes a special appearance by Paris the Black FU (Detroit Grand Pubahs) on the track ‘Stilnox’.

The release is about the perception of time depending on people’s activity and their mental state.  Plastic Time (also known as Elastic Time) is a term developed by Intel researchers to describe a modern “experience that is highly interruptible, shrinking and expanding around immediate concerns, and interleaving through multiple activities”.

Key Clef is a Berlin based, italian dj and producer with strong passion for analogue instruments. After experiencing the last years of the flourishing rave scene in Rome and accomplishing a degree in sound engineering her creative process evolved into different directions from club music, to performance art and electro acoustics.
In her own world music is a continuous dialogue between styles and hybridation. Her music productions as well her live performances include synth, drum machines and analogue effects reflecting her ethereal trajectory while her dj sets show the full prism of her music taste and knowledge of the dance floor.
Key Clef sound doesn’t hit on surface instead aims to channel emotions and contact between her music and the listener. After maturing her sound over the years she is finally launched her own imprint Ipnotica Erotica rec distributed by Rubadub.

The label will freely follow different kinds of sounds, since it doesn’t want to establish itself as a music genre but wants to be a free artistic expression & more than to be expressed by a genre it is expressed through emotions. Emotions that arise through the endless flow of sound that should hypnotize the auditor bringing him to feel the music on a physical level , while feeling his self bounded and surrounded by it.

Shakaali is a passionate collector, musician and documentary filmmaker born in Finland, currently living in Brno. He works as part of the AVA collective, where he realizes experimental DJ sets, as well as psychedelic solo live jams with a modular synthesizer. Besides, he forms half of the electroacoustic duo Thistle.

For our podcast, from his eclectic collection, Shakaali has selected electronic music from around the world, focusing on spiritual vibrations and Afghan and Soviet psychedelic rock.
