Birth and Background
IzzyK was born in Stuttgart, Germany, and is one of the region's pioneering female DJs. Her career began in the early 1990s, gaining recognition in the DJ scene as she played various genres such as rock, metal, funk, and soul in different clubs.

Musical Career
After a hiatus from music, IzzyK made a comeback in 2021, focusing on music production in the house and techno genres. In 2022, she expanded her skills by attending audio engineering classes at the SAE Institute in Stuttgart to enhance her technical expertise.

Current Projects
IzzyK plans to return to DJing in June 2024, with scheduled performances at Nexo Club in Schorndorf. Since her comeback in 2021, she has consistently produced new tracks, releasing them both independently and through various labels.

Bio

Tobi Tobermann, as he calls himself, was born in 1980 into a musical family. Both his grandfather and father were musicians, with the latter releasing a vinyl record with his band in the 1960s. Tobi began reading music and playing the recorder at the age of four. Two years later, he started learning the flute. At twelve, he discovered his passion for the organ, which remains his favorite instrument to this day, and he continues to play it regularly.

Along with his classical music education, Tobi Tobermann was introduced to techno at an early age. In 1995, he first listened to the renowned “HR3-Clubnight” featuring a groundbreaking set by the world-famous DJ Sven Väth. Väth’s influence on Tobi’s musical journey remains significant to this day. Additionally, Väth sparked Tobi’s love for the city of Frankfurt am Main, where he has lived and worked since 2007. Besides Sven Väth, Tobi’s musical inspirations include the French acid and trance producer Emmanuel Top, the live act Alter Ego, and the electronic dance music radio station Evosonic, along with its DJ and host Chris Liebing. Today, Evosonic regularly features sets by Tobi Tobermann.

In 1997, Tobi experienced a live techno DJ set for the first time. The legendary U60311 club in Frankfurt am Main was among the venues that significantly influenced him. He first stepped behind the turntables in 1998, naturally using Technics. Four years later, he created his first techno track. Although his professional career temporarily distanced him from the techno scene, his passion for the genre never waned. Since 2020, Tobi has been active again, favoring digital DJing with CDJs and producing his own tracks. His musical style spans from High-Tech Minimal and Techno to his specialty, Acid.

Since April 2024, together with his production partner Denis Nocken, he has been releasing new tracks every month on various labels. Their latest track, “Disconnection,” reached a top position in the “Techno Peak Time Hype Charts” on Beatport. The musical future of Tobi Tobermann promises to be full of exciting developments.
