Joseph.N returns to the Hexagonal family with a new brace of weapons.   Based in Eygpt and signed to a number of solid labels including Made in Egypt, Kollectiv and more, Joseph.N has been quietly building an arsenal of sonic weaponry to unleash on the world. Influenced by a wide spectrum of sounds, producing his own music is the culmination of many years of experimentation and discovery. Opening the EP with ‘Conflict Inside’, we are soon diving deep into Joseph’s incendiary sound. Tough kicks and a huge bass line bedrock the analogue sonics as they mutate into squelchy melodics. The brief respite of the main break is broken with powerful drive.  Next up, ‘Silent Groove’ continues apace. Deep, bulbous kicks and a rolling bassline get things off to a rousing start. Darkly energetic, the synths are spiky and saw-toothed for that peak time, head nodder we all need in our sets.

Very excited to announce our fourth release, Hydrogen Rockers – Musica. Originally released on Plastica in 2001, it featured on John Digweed’s GU19 compilation and was a firm favourite with many DJs.

The track has been remixed by two super fans of the original which makes it even more special. Patch Park have turned in a genre-defying peak time thumper of a remix. Nila has produced two remixes that brilliantly groove along, reminiscent of the Peace Division sound but with added melody and atmosphere.

The record comes complete with the original and dub mix making a very strong package.

Already getting support from John Digweed, Sasha, Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman and Mike Rish. We can’t wait to get this out there!

Ambassador, you are spoiling us!

That’s right, in our role as House & Techno (and all flavours inbetween) global emissaries, we here at Selador like to think we’re masters in finding the cherry to place atop the cake…or indeed the icing…or arguably both in this case, as we cook up not one but two sizzling, oven-ready remixes (enough with the ropey baking analogies, get a move on – exasperated Ed). Sorry. Where were we? Oh yes – a top notch remix package, that’s where.

Hot on the heels of getting you all somewhat hot under the collar by unveiling Danny’s splendiferous new double header release, here in its slipstream, hoving into view in the rear-view mirror and set to join them in pole position, are two majestic re-rubs of ‘Stereodrama’.

The annals of Seladorian history are chock-full of top-drawer collaborations, and now added to that esteemed list, we have Aubrey Fry (Bedrock and LNOE stalwart making a long overdue and most welcome Selador debut) teaming up with a man who is quickly becoming a Selador lynchpin, Nick Stoynoff. Their version excursion twists and turns (like a twisty turny thing, as a wise man once said), and much as this is both an over- and often mis-used expression, it genuinely takes you on a journey through the sonic stratosphere, a mix of two halves as the deep and driving opening salvo blends into a genuinely euphoric crescendo.

And we ain’t done yet! Enter stage left Toulouse-based techno troubadour DCLVIII OFC, another label debutant who we’re beyond chuffed to have on the team. Tempo up, heads down, lights low, volume knob turned up to 11 for a brooding masterclass set to rattle a bassbin near you any night now.
