This set was recorded in the National Park of Circeo on the 24.8.22 a few meters away from the Tyrrhenian Sea. There were 60 people audience lying on the sand, a few candles and a 4+1 Turbosound system.
I played my own productions including a few unreleased tunes.
Thanks to "Le Passeggiate Poetiche" and Exotique.it for making this possible.

We are deeply excited to share Donato and Marco’s grand finale for the last edition of Terraforma at Villa Arconati. With great humbleness, these two masters and dear friends have carefully broadened and lulled, record after record, an intimate space of trust, exchange and deep-time connection. 
 
Also, we’d like to add a fond memory that was shared with us a few days after:

“Dozzy and Shuttle’s finale unfolded like twilight. A prolonged dusk caressed by an eerie drizzle. Shadows and whispers echoing with the surroundings. Synapses slowly reaching the ground, merging and becoming one with the underground rhizomatic networks. A memorable rendez-Nous within a fractal space. It felt like being at the core center of the matrix, enveloped by a warmth reminiscent of a maternal womb. I found myself in a weightless suspension, envisioning the past, the present and the future, all together in a blink of an eye.”

We are fueled by gratitude for all this beauty.

I’m really happy to share the next Deep Mind Music today, from my friend Adam Pits. A calming and serene entry, listening to this mix feels like floating on your back in a cool lake on a hot day. A quenching refreshment for a frazzled mind 🩵

The mix wanders gently through slowly morphing landscapes. The soft twitter of birdsong brings us to a dusk dappled forest, warm drones coaxing us further inwards in a lackadaisical swirl. Toward the end of the mix we are uplifted by luminescent arpeggios which draw rainbow trails through the sky above 🍃☀️🌿

I sense in Adam’s selections and musical approach a shared sensitivity to the innate emotive undertones of music, as well as sounds which have an inherent depth and vitality to them. I hope you enjoy listening to this meditative mix as much as I have 🪶

An unexpected sequel, exploring the same records and moods as a previous recording in Beijing. This is taken from a recent show for Nurture x Liminal Dreams at The Observatory in Saigon. The plan had been a full spectrum set, but the energy did not feel right. Instead, I decided to play warm and comforting beats, focusing on my musical 'childhood', records from the late 90s - mid 00s. The mixing and presentation is meant to be gentle and relaxing. Enjoy.

„Leuchtende Tage“ beginnt mit einem sanften, ruhigen Klavierspiel, das sich langsam entfaltet und die Unbeschwertheit meiner Kindheit widerspiegelt. Eine Zeit voller Optimismus und Freude, geprägt von Leichtigkeit und Staunen. Zu Beginn ist die Musik klar und schlicht, wie der erste Sonnenstrahl des Tages, und sie wächst allmählich, wird lebendiger, bis sie einen hoffnungsvollen Höhepunkt erreicht. Dieser Moment steht für das Glück, das ich als Kind empfand, als alles möglich schien. Die Musik symbolisiert die Freiheit, das Abenteuer und die Geborgenheit, die ich in meiner Familie fand, sowie das Staunen über die Welt. Im Klang des Klaviers liegt die Wärme und das Vertrauen meiner Familie, das Gefühl, dass die Welt voller Wunder ist.

„Dunkelheit in der Stille“ beginnt mit tiefen, schweren Klaviertönen, die eine düstere Stimmung erzeugen. Diese Töne erinnern mich an die Momente meiner Kindheit und Jugend, in denen die Welt nicht immer so klar war. Es sind Zeiten der Unsicherheit und Ängste, in denen ich mich verloren fühlte und die Welt chaotisch und unfreundlich erschien. Doch die Musik bleibt nicht nur in der Dunkelheit. Sie entwickelt sich weiter, baut Spannung auf und führt zu einem Moment der Verwirrung. Dieses Chaos steht für ungelöste Konflikte und Fragen meiner Jugend. Die Musik löst das Chaos nicht auf, sondern lässt es weiter schwelen, was meine Entwicklung prägte. Es bleibt ein Teil von mir, den ich nie ganz begreifen konnte.

„Zwischen Licht und Schatten“ beginnt mit unsicherem, rhythmischem Spiel, das fast monoton wirkt, als würde ich im Kreis laufen. Es erinnert mich an eine Zeit, in der ich mich im Leben verloren fühlte, immer wieder mit denselben Fragen und Herausforderungen konfrontiert war. Doch plötzlich bricht diese Wiederholung auf, und es entsteht ein Moment der Schönheit, eine flüchtige Ruhe. Dieser Übergang führt zu einem emotionalen Klaviersolo, das den Wendepunkt markiert. Es ist der Moment, in dem ich begreife, dass das Leben mehr ist als nur die glücklichen Momente – es ist auch eine Reise voller Schmerz und Verantwortung. Die Musik endet auf einem tiefen Ton, der das Gewicht dieser Erkenntnis widerspiegelt, doch trotz der Schwere breitet sich eine gewisse Ruhe aus. Die Melodie über C am Ende vermittelt die Hoffnung, dass nach jeder Dunkelheit wieder Licht folgt.

„Aufbruch ins Unbekannte“ beginnt ruhig und fast meditativ, doch die Musik steigert sich und erreicht einen Höhepunkt, der fast unerträglich wirkt. Dieser Moment symbolisiert die Erkenntnis, dass es Zeit ist, sich dem Unbekannten zu stellen. Es ist der Übergang von einer Phase des Lernens zu einer Phase des Handelns. Zu Beginn überwältigend und beängstigend, ist es der Moment, in dem ich verstehe, dass das Leben mit all seinen Herausforderungen vor mir liegt. Das Stück spiegelt diesen inneren Wandel wider – die Umstellung von Wissen und Theorie hin zu Handeln, Aufbruch und Neubeginn. Es ist der Moment, in dem man begreift, dass der Weg nicht immer einfach sein wird, aber dass man ihn gehen muss.

„Neuer Takt“ stellt den endgültigen Übergang dar, sowohl im Leben als auch im Stück. Es ist in 7/8-Takt geschrieben, was anfangs fremd und herausfordernd wirkt. Der Rhythmus ist unvorhersehbar und chaotisch und symbolisiert den Übergang ins Erwachsenwerden, das Verlassen vertrauter Wege. Es ist der Schritt ins Unbekannte, das sich ungewiss und schwierig anfühlt. Doch am Ende entsteht eine innere Klarheit, als ob ich den Takt des Lebens endlich erfasst habe. Es ist der Moment des Erwachsenwerdens – dass das Leben nie einfach ist, immer Herausforderungen mit sich bringt, aber in all seiner Unvorhersehbarkeit wunderschön bleibt.
