Several rules were laid down for this one:
1) Only sine waves could be used (other than field recordings)
2) A set of production rules generated the music
3) The arrangement of the music could only be manipulated by changing the length of the silences.

Remix of Devotion Afloat by Subaqueous.  A fairly large amount of granular synthesis on this one (4 or 5 tracks), a touch of MS2000, and a bit of guitar.

Most production decisions were intentional (e.g., have the guitars at the end choke some of the other sound out); I just wanted to try something new so that I wasn't compressing the shit out of everything or sidechaining everything to the point of nausea. 

I wanted the song to sound a bit lived in, really. So there's that.
