"Swallow the Invoice” is a reflection on how systems meant to protect and support us end up grinding us down. The lyrics expose the trap of debt, where small shortcuts turn into lifelong chains, and where society teaches us to bury our anger and sorrow instead of facing them. It questions why we accept a world that calls pain uncivilized, while that very silence feeds depression and despair. At its core, the song is about the hidden cost of being told to stay quiet—and the need to reclaim the right to feel, to resist, and to live honestly.
