With “Tendre Furie EP”, Emlio van Rijsel offers a glimpse of the wide array of his influences, embarking us on a synthful romantic & melancholic journey, depicting the nostalgia of missed blissful raving nights. Born in Dallas but now located in Berlin via stints in LA, Austin and Detroit, Alex Wilcox is a distinctive and quirky DJ/producer and live artist whose unique take on electronic music has welcomed curiosity and intrigue from a wealth of leading talents within techno, electro and leftfield territories. From his early days assisting and editing for platinum-selling pop talent Pinkslip through to his time at UR headquarters Submerge alongside the legendary Mike Banks, his entry into electronic music from initial beginnings in rock music signalled the start of a path to explore, warp and reshape the conventional boundaries of traditional genres. Fusing his own brand of eclectic club music with a self-described style of DJ sets that come as a ‘genre-less, chaotic whirlwind’, it’s no surprise that his next adventure finds a perfect home on Bjarki’s re-launched bbbbbb recors - a label known for entrancing, idiosyncratic future-focused output without limitations from distinctive talents across the globe

As a thank you to our beloved community that showed us nothing but support and ap- preciation over the last year, Schimmer Records is releasing a compilation of 27 tracks by our residents and invited artists.

Just as we did last year, we want to use our reach to address the more serious issues the global community faces today and help the less fortunate. Especially the most vulnerable of us, children can suffer under the consequences of the action of others: Abuse, a lack of access to education and misplacement become rampant in times of war and conflict.

Thus, this year we feel the proceeds raised from our Christmas album, which is 15 Euro for the whole album, are best placed with “Save The Children“. After the release is funded 100% of our earnings will go towards the goal of helping children in need.

We wish you a very happy Christmas, a joyful time with the people dearest to you and a happy new year. See you in 2024!

Unrilis continues its Rilis series with a raw and hypnotic techno EP by Andres Gil.

Andres Gil is a Colombian artist from Medellín, and his style fuses analogue synths with driving percussion. He is a highly respected producer known for his music on prestigious record labels such as Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien Records, Florian Meindl's FLASH Recordings and A.Paul's Naked Lunch.

Rilis is an underground techno series that was launched in the late '90s by the legendary Rino Cerrone before he retired from electronic music. Rilis was an uncompromising outlet that allowed Rino to experiment with new ideas, and two decades later the influential project has been relaunched to focus on artists who share his original vision.

Here the Première of "Echoes In The Night"
It opens the release with pitched tom drums and a swelling lead synth that's nestled amongst a backdrop of eerie atmospherics.
