Since forming their partnership in Rosario, Argentina, José Duque and Bruno Signorelli have spent more than a decade sculpting a sound that sits perfectly between deep progressive pulse and sophisticated melodic architecture.

Now they return to HIGHER STATES with a powerful three-track EP that guides the listener through shifting landscapes of bass, melody and feeling. The duo's chemistry is magnetic and unmistakable. They skilfully play with contrast in their sonic expressions — shadow against light, tension against release — holding that delicate balance between darkness and lift in every track.

‘Tear Drop' opens with restraint before tearing into an addictive, rolling groove. Melodic fragments and intricate effects bloom across the spectrum. The sounds are detailed, cinematic, and executed with a masterful sound design you feel directly upon hearing it.

With ‘Dizzy', Abity go straight for the body. Heavy kicks, driving groove, hypnotic arpeggios looping upward in controlled ascent. The track builds pressure, rising and rising before slipping into a deep, eyes-closed moment on the dance floor.

This 18-track album, created across Novosibirsk, Moscow, and a circle of outstanding Russian musicians, transforms the country’s cosmic heritage into a living sonic universe. Each composition is named after a celestial body discovered by Russian scientists — turning dub techno into a language of astronomy reimagined through live instruments, voice, and improvisation. Real bass, live guitars, percussion, saxophone, and vocals turn dub techno into a research mission aimed at exploring the very objects Russian astronomers once revealed to the world.

Every track here is a celestial body marked on the map thanks to Russian researchers. Russian Space becomes a sonic catalogue of national discoveries — not in the form of a textbook, but as a pulsating odyssey where deep rhythm intertwines with live improvisation, and digital precision coexists with human breath. This is not just dub techno — it is a study in motion, where each composition bears the name of a celestial object found by Russian scientists. The result is a sonic atlas of domestic discoveries, rendered in a deep, fluid, and organically cosmic sound.

V. Solar strokes and asteroid trails.
:::3063/Μαχάων, a collaboration between Chain Selector (@chainselector) and TIMONIN (@andrey-timonin), moves like a ship through a dense asteroid belt. TIMONIN reveals himself here through synth accents that form an astrophysical structure — cold, crystalline, yet filled with inner light. His synth blends into the dub flow like impulse lights of a station flickering as the ship passes an asteroid field.

“Russian Space” is an album where dub techno, live vocals, and acoustic instruments transform Russia’s scientific heritage into an emotional stellar trajectory.

Affiliate Records lines up another essential release from the underground with Glenn Molloy – “The Void”, backed by a heavyweight remix from label favourite Doug Crawford.
The original mix finds Dublin producer Glenn Molloy in full command of the peak-time dancefloor. “The Void” is a chunky, driving slice of progressive house, powered by huge, insistent synth stabs and a soaring low-end groove. Deep pads and savage percussion weave around each other, while otherworldly FX and detail-rich sound design steadily crank up the tension.
