Patrick an aspiring talent within the production world has recently had productions signed to Paul Hawcrofts, E=MC2 Records and the mighty Paul Oakenfolds, Perfecto Black Records. Having joined us for our shananigans with Jody Wisternoff during the summer months, Patrick was inspired by what he experienced that night and instantly got on to a production, specific for Melodic Beats..
What transpired was a driving hypnotic melodic beauty of a track which I just had to sign.. The enthusiasm and perfection Patrick shows is testament to a talent passionate about his trade.

Patrick Evans - Dysphoria comes in its original form and the task of remix duties was handed to good friends of melodic Beats, Ranj Kaler and Kazko.

Ranj, who has had huge success over recent years with numerous releases on various leading labels, including Melodic Beats Recordings and supported by all the top players, has delivered a hypnotic belter with a groove which justs hooks you in and carries you along on his musical drive. Its Huge

And Kazko, who again has been creating a name for himself with numerous releases, again on some leading labels with a forthcoming on Melodic Beats Recordings, has gone full pelt into a driving progressive house sound that is blowing up systems all around.. Its special !!!!

Da Luka's roku imprint continues a strong start to the year by welcoming VegaZ SL to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Sri Lanka, Vegaz SL has established himself with a mesmerizing groovy sound that continues to fuel his country's dancefloors. On the strength of early tracks in 2021, the Galle resident would go on to compile an impressive resume across the next three calendar years, showcasing his music via Droid9, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings, Sound Avenue, WARPP and his own La Foresta imprint; while some of the world's most highly regarded DJs championed his work along the way. Now, beginning 2024 on a strong note, VegaZ SL debuts on roku with 'Not In Never Falling', alongside remixes from Paul Hamilton and Kyotto. 

The release concludes with Kyotto making his label debut with the lone interpretation of 'Me And I'. First emerging in 2017, Sri Lankan artist Kyotto was quickly tipped as one of his country's most promising progressive house artists. Releases via JEE Productions, Mango Alley, Sound Avenue and his own CRFT Music imprint have been recent discography highlights, while Hernan Cattaneo continues to be steadfast with support. Continuing to rise out of his country's electronic landscape, Kyotto now debuts on roku with a heady take on 'Me And I'. Focusing on a slightly darker monochrome, the Colombo resident takes aim at the dancefloor for what results in a slow-burning seven-minute journey. Gyrating rhythms and deep chugging basslines set the course for snatches of flickering percussion and shapeshifting effects. Looking to bring a surreal yet dramatic response, the main break shifts the narrative through anticipatory arps and a growling underbelly, before a contemporary build cues a stripped back drop and prophetic finale, one which an astute dancefloor will certainly appreciate.

Ruben Karapetyan’s RKP continues a strong summer season by welcoming Maze 28 back to the label for a new single. Hailing from Albania, Mario Zefi aka Maze 28 has become one of the most hotly tipped progressive house artists that the underground has to offer. In just three short years the Durres resident has earned support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while his melodic creations have found a home on Clubsonica, Juicebox Music and Mango Alley, the latter of which operates as his primary home. RKP has also been a landing spot for the talented Albanian, with October of last year marking his label debut with ‘This Is Just a Dream’. Remixed by Hernan Cattaneo and Marcelo Vasami, the track quickly rose to the number one position in both the label and artist’s Beatport sellers, where it still sits today. Now, following his latest vehicle for Juicebox Music, the cross-cultural sounds of ‘Cry of the Deserts’, Maze 28 returns to RKP with ‘Red Lights From Afar’, alongside remixes from Ruben Karapetyan and Nacres.

Maze 28's craftsmanship reveals itself across the groovy monochromes of 'Red Lights From Afar'. Muscular kick drums and swing heavy grooves provide a foundation of jet force propulsions, as effects orbit and percussion builds momentum. Striking sonics and woody claps steal the air as the main break approaches, forecasting new found themes to come.
