Diamond Dealer started his career in South Africa playing deep african house music in the heart of the townships, soon creating a buzz as a sought after DJ and making his mark in the South African house scene headlining events with the likes of Black Coffee and Themba

2021 has been a great year for Diamond Dealer with two EPs released on Moblack Records and his latest track "Mbali'nhle" celebrated by Beatport as one of The 50 Best Tracks of 2021. He also made a debut guest DJ appearance on John Digweed's Transitions Radio show, one of the biggest shows in electronic music.

Known for his energetic, Afro infused DJ sets, Diamond Dealer has been invited to play in several high profile clubs in Europe, Africa and Asia (Including Paris, Montpellier, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Soweto, Durban, Jakarta, Seoul etc...)

Melodies that are able to create more and more realistic environments in our minds, an eccentric signature that brings us enigmatism, intensity and melancholy, taking us back to the classic sound of the Renaissance under the Melodic Techno clothing. This is how we define Mizzar, an artist who does not limit himself when it comes to expressing himself in his works.

Cited as one of the "10 Melodic Techno artists to watch out for" by Techno Perfect magazine, the young man seeks more and more to be unique in what he does, drawing inspiration from books and classical works, where he delves deep until he is able to create his work atmosphere, where he pours himself completely until he is able to give life to his imaginary.  
Mizzar has written a musical odyssey with the purpose of giving a surreal experience to his audience, with themes that cause different sensations to those who listen.

And this time it is no different, the Brazilian brings us an intense and enigmatic mixtape, full of beautiful tracks, including two unreleased authorial tracks of his that have not yet been shown.

Grammy nominated engineer, producer and songwriter Steven Weston was brought up in Portsmouth, learning to play the organ as a kid, but an early obsession with electronic music soon had him trading it in for a set of turntables. At 18, he left for Spain, where he became a resident DJ on the Murcia coast. 

He’s been on the move ever since, touring the world playing keyboard for the likes of Ladyhawke, Charli XCX, Mikky Ekko and UNKLE. He was also the first and lead bass player in The KLE side project Badger Kull and cut his teeth as an engineer at Metropolis and Strongroom studios in London, working many years with the bands Chronixx & Rudimental at their studio Major Toms in Hoxton.

His inaugural dance music release came in early 2021 with a remix of Catch Me When I Fall from the Ronin I mixtape, which saw great support from John Digweed. 

After launching his own imprint Blank Dust with two EPs, he went on to release on Sasha’s celebrated Last Night On Earth with ‘Liquid followed by his Anjunadeep debut March 31st with the first single from his forthcoming After the Flow EP, entitled ‘Like I Used To’, featuring vocals from British singer-songwriter Låpsley.

Prima Materia is a formless primeval substance regarded as the original material of the universe formed by the interaction of chaos and order in nature. The first track of the EP, Melanosis has a bit of an aggressive theme representing "chaos". On the other hand, the second track, Iosis is comparatively mysterious, deep and euphoric representing "order". But when put together you get prima materia and hence the EP name.
