This time we welcome back Cyantist, the masters of combining cinematic and melodic techno. On this EP you will find two very powerful originals in which they tell beautiful melodic stories and are complimented by two great remixes by Cian Moynagh and Di Rugerio.

Cyantist - Elevate (Original Mix)
They start out with a deep and heavy kick, like a real club banger would. Then they slowly introduce vocals and spacy melodic shots. Making this a beautiful and unique mix between heavy and spacy. Just how we like it!

Cyantist - Tabula Rasa (Original Mix)
Another heavy duty track by Cyantist! The wobbling synth makes for the perfect introduction. Like a crazed snakes it creep towards the first drop, accompanied by a spacy high pitched lead. After a melodic interlude they keep on going strong in which all elements seem to keep evolving. A wonderful creation!

Cyantist - Elevate (Cian Moynagh Remix)
Cian turned Elevate into a wonderful deep melodic journey. A mesmerizing arpeggio and smartly placed percussions lead the way towards the first break where he introduces the heavenly vocals and the growling bassline. With all these elements he manages to create a wonderful symbiose that result in this amazing remix. A job very well done by Cian Moynagh!

Cyantist - Tabula Rasa (Di Rugerio Remix)
Di Rugerio took a minimalist approach in this remix, giving each element a clear purpose and with that, power! His build up with his percussions is simple yet effective. Once the percussions, bass and melodies have fused together, the dream is complete in which one can get lost and drift away. A subtle yet strong track by Di Rugerio!

“Perceptions of Being” is Last Love’s debut release, consisting of five powerful tracks, produced by some of the familiar faces on the Last Love roster. 

Alex Preda kicks off with “Render”, an atmospheric banger in which the delicate arpeggio’s keep pushing you forward. The shimmering lead gives this track a very unique soundscape. The break really pulls you in deep, only to drop you right back into the action at the climax.

“The Forbidden Fruit” by Cliff de Zoete is a dark dancefloor weapon that keeps evolving, using intricate melodies to create a moody vibe. The dark gritty lead and driving bassline make this a powerful track.

Klankveld brings the next track on the VA called “Intuition”. A very unique track where they’ve masterfully used syncopated triplet melodies, fitting them in a 4/4 format. Giving this track a very danceable and bouncy groove.

Next up is German powerhouse Lexer with his track “Mosquito”. A slow burner that builds up gradually. Once the main lead drops you instantly understand the track title. In the break the slowly speeding up arpeggio’s build up the tension to massive heights.

Last but not least we have Rob Hes bringing us “Something Against Us”. A hypnotizing cut that keeps building on Its main sequenced melody. Taking you on a journey of tension and release, intricately playing with the automation of all elements.

Last Love is an Amsterdam based label focussed on Melodic Techno. We aim to bring out music that moves, both physically and emotionally. Life is about storytelling and personal growth. Who and what you love is a big part of that. You may have had some lovers in the past, but we will be your last.

2020 has come to an end and so is our Podcast Series. Closing the list, we have a true electronic music pioneer in our home town, Steve PD. As an original member of the Pastilla Digital crew, Steve built his reputation as a top-notch DJ by putting together great opening and closing sets, and this time was no exception.  In this session, the Hardpop Club ex-resident made sure to include a variety of sounds and textures going from Indie Dance to House and Techno. Enjoy the journey!!
