November sees the release of the new EP from Californian Indie-Electro outfit http://soundcloud.com/let-em-riot. The SlashWave EP delivers five tracks of stunning, emotional, Dreamwave Pop.

Ranging from upbeat floorfillers to impassioned ballads, SlashWave draws on bitter-sweet nostalgia and new romanticism set amidst a hazy retro 80s ElectroPop soundtrack made contemporary with Indie sensibilities.

Like the soundtrack to the John Hughes movie of your life, SlashWave brings together lush, rich synthesizers and the kind of gently melancholy, tempered with optimism, that characterized the best 80s Pop. Perfectly packages for today's vintage Disco dancefloors.

SlashWave was written and produced by Let Em Riot's Alan Oakes, mixed by Chris Fudurich (Jimmy Eat World, Nada Surf, RX Bandits), and mastered by Bob DeMaa (Semisonic, The Rembrandts). The cover features artwork by SBJKT.

Synthwave revolutionaries ZERO CALL are back, just a few weeks after their recent hit single „Stellar Wind“ which was released digitally on Emerald & Doreen, accompanied by remixes from Technobeton, Arkademode and other highly talented newcomers, and shortly after, due to its success, also on vinyl via Oráculo Records.

Now they return to Emerald & Doreen with their new single „Cursed“ which is the result of a collaboration with the Dream Pop/Post-Wave singer-songwriter AUGUSTINE: a beautiful encounter, merging the influences of both into something new, clearly inspired by the New Wave and Synth-Pop of the 1980s. The single comes with a synth-disco remix made solely with analog synths, sequencers and drum machines by the French producer MAETHELVIN and the AutoRMX in full „French Touch“ mood by Zero Call.

The official video clip is produced by the Spanish 3D artist Oscar Civit.
