Matt Lange - Inorganism [EDM.com Premiere]

It's been a while since Romboy dropped some new solo material but now he returns to his Systematic Recordings imprint for the fiery and chunky 'Elgur/Nasa' EP. 

With early support coming from Davide Squillace, James Zabiela, Laurent Garnier and Joris Voorn, it's clear to see the worldwide appeal that the German holds.

We have the first spin of A-side 'Elgur' and once again Romboy has presented a roller that acts as a workout as much as it does a piece of music. 

Thick basslines, a dark and heavy bass undercurrent and the sort of menacing drive you'd expect if Freddie Krueger was behind the wheel of a Ferrari. This is massive, glorious techno at it's best.

We're hoping that Ireland's finest techno warrior Sunil Sharpe doesn't need any introduction after his absolutely storming 90 minute set with Karenn and hyper-perceptive interview for us at the end of last year. And frankly NeilLandstrumm shouldn't need any interview given that he's been rumbling the fuck out of warehouses and basements for 20+ years now. Sunil's label Earwiggle has a double-vinyl EP called Eight Wiggling' Ways to Die coming up last night that features DeFeKt, Bintus, AnD, Boner M and a host of others including Landstrumm's "The Rise of Slime" which is a plug-ugly-but-funky-as-a-motherfucker bit of scrapyard rave music for meth-head robots.

Glass Figure are the newest additions to Gesaffelstein and The Hacker's Zone Records.

Joining the likes of Maelstrom, Jon Convex, Louisahhh!!! and Djedjotronic on the label, the five-year-old duo are about to release the 'States' EP before their debut album later in the year.

'Jovian' is the sophomore release of UK-born, now Bordeaux resident SHALT, an EP that conceptually lands somewhere between techno/grime hybrids and radio storms on Jupiter. 
This EP couldn't have had a better theme, as the music could easily soundtrack volcanoes on Io hurling gas into the Jovian magnetosphere.

SHALT explores a range of visually intense sound textures on all four tracks - alien, muscular, metallic, mechanic, abrasive yet oddly comforting - that are a breath of fresh air in the scene and more than welcome here at Clubwerks. Gently crackling matter, stripped back club-ready percussion, undulating sonar signals and the overall intriguing listening experience make this one a standout for us in every way.

No two tracks are alike, each has its own oddity factor and that's what makes listening fun. As long as you immerse yourself, which isn't hard to do, you will enjoy this bold mission.
