From electronic music to visual arts, from theatre to performance and dance, Electropark’s 13th edition, “Resonances”, will find its way through new politics of music based on collective practices and intra-actions.
Evergreen, its podcast, will interview scholars and writers, composers and artists seeking for a red thread of collective healing and kinship-based resistance.
From the depth of the water, voices spread from the sand, spiral in seagrass, swim their way to the sun rays - but they are yet to be heard.

Evergreen is created and conducted by Cla Calabresi, transfeminist activist, writer and podcaster. She lives between Genova and
Baltimore, where she follows a PhD at Johns Hopkins University on Cinema, Gender and Queer studies.

Evergreen Podcast - S2EP1 | Political re-actions / prologue

Evergreen is the podcast of Electropark dedicated to the artists that animate the festival, curated by Cla Calabresi. Are live music concerts the only collective form of listening that we can have? Can we think of a different approach to the spaces in which we experience music, and what does a safe music space look like?

Rikke Lundgreen is an artist and curator for sound based exhibitions and events. Tommi Grönlund is an artist and runs the record label Sähkö Recordings. Together, they founded Museum Of Sound, dedicated to the memory of Mika Vainio: a nomadic space where is possible to experience a “deep listening” of his music. In Genova, Museum of Sound has found a temporary home in “Teatrino di Palazzo Ducale”, where, for four days, from 4 to 8 pm, people have been able to axcess and listen to a selection of Vainio’s music specifically created for “Resonances”.  In four days, the room has never been empty, and people from all Italy have come to listen the music of Mika Vainio.

ILYA | "The girl wanders through the boundless expanse of the black sky;/She sees a silhouette. /But she cannot see if it’s nearby or far away.  /With every step she takes,  /it seems to take on a different form, /spitting new images, ever distorted.  /And as they get closer through infinite spaces,  /with or without time,  /is she as a mirage, /and will they never find one another, /only cancel each other out as yes and no." In “THROUGH SPACELESS SPACES”, the multidisciplinary performance of ILYA seen at Electropark, music, dance, and spoken word melodically intertwine. Alexis Pauline Gumbs is an American writer, independent scholar, poet, activist and educator based in North Carolina. Gumbs advocates for other POC queer women[citation needed] and is commonly known as a “Black Feminist love evangelist,”but she also describes herself as a "Queer Black Troublemaker" and "aspirational cousin to all sentient beings.”

Valerie Tameu (they/them) is an author and performer. A dance studies graduate from the Faculty of Cinema, Performing Arts, Music and Media in Turin. Since 2019, she has been creating and carrying out her artistic projects in different contexts and realities, which include performances, installations and research projects, characterized by a hybrid and exploratory approach.

Da giovedì 12 a domenica 15 giugno 2025, nel Teatrino di Palazzo Ducale, i musicisti Tobia Poltronieri, Alessandro Cau e Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo hanno ricordato il musicista statunitense Miles Cooper Seaton, scomparso prematuramente nel 2021, con la prima europea dell’installazione-performance “Transient Music #2”. Si tratta di un pezzo site-specific e variabile a seconda del luogo e dei musicisti che lo eseguono, concepito da Miles Cooper Seaton con l’obiettivo di «creare uno spazio contemplativo, carico e temporaneo» e messo in scena per la prima volta a Los Angeles dieci anni fa.
Abbiamo intervistato Alessandro Cau e Tobia Poltronieri.

Alessandro Cau è un batterista/ percussionista, sperimentatore, improvvisatore, performer. Dal 2010 inizia la propria personale ricerca timbrica, legata non solo alle percussioni cosiddette convenzionali, ma anche agli oggetti di uso comune e materiali di riciclo, ampliando il proprio set percussivo e “preparandolo”. Nel novembre 2011 frequenta il Laboratorio di “Ricerca Musicale Permanente” diretto da Stefano Battaglia presso il Siena Jazz. Negli anni ha suonato con svariati musicisti e progetti musicali, tra i quali Mauro Sigura Quartet, Any Other, Miles Cooper Seaton trio, Marco Giudici, Sunsweet Blues Revenge, Moti Mo, Snake Platform, Undisco Kidd, Nick Rivera. Ha suonato in Teatri e Festival in Italia, Francia, Svizzera, Spagna, Belgio, Germania, Norvegia, UK, Croazia, Montenegro, Turchia, Tunisia, Etiopia, Serbia e Giappone. 

Tobia Poltronieri (Verona, 1988) è un compositore, cantante e chitarrista italiano.
Co-fondatore del collettivo artistico C+C=Maxigross, con cui ha suonato centinaia di concerti in giro per il mondo dal 2010, ha registrato decine di dischi con svariati progetti (sia come musicista, che come compositore o produttore artistico) e suonato dal vivo/in studio con: 
Miles Cooper Seaton (Akron / Family, Michael Gira & Angels of Light), Marco Fasolo (Jennifer Gentle), Oliver Coates (violoncello per Jonny Greenwood e Radiohead...), Enrico Gabrielli (Calibro 35, Pj Harvey, Afterhours…), Lino Capra Vaccina (Battiato, Aktuala, Claudio Rocchi...), Hakon Gebhardt (Motorpsycho), Laetitia Sadier (Stereolab), Martin Hagfors (Home Groan, HGH, collaboratore dei Jaga Jazzist e Motorpsycho), Alessandro Cau (Any Other, Kid Millions...), Alioune Slysajah, Marco Giudici (Halfalib, Any Other) e molti altri.
Oltre alla musica si è dedicato all’organizzazione di eventi culturali e sociali, alla scrittura e alla ricerca in campo artistico.
