Yay for an upcoing EP! I love the idea of a Funk District.  I would totally visit it. This is a lot of fun. Unpretentious and interactive and cordial on top of these slamming beats, and I love the fades in and out (volume-speaking) at 1:00. This is neat. So much atmosphere and groove and snap to it. This piece is swaggering. It's so glossy and well-produced and interesting and funky; it really is evoking the sence of an entire funk neighborhood, and all the sounds that you  might hear in that funky community. Nice.
