Nico Pusch versteht es wie kaum ein anderer Emotionen und minimale Stile in seinen Melodien zu verbinden. Er transportiert in seinen Sets jede Menge Gefühle und lebt elektronische Musik von vorn bis hinten. Der aus Rostock stammende DJ und Produzent, hat in der Vergangenheit vorallem durch seine Produktionen und Bootlegs auf sich aufmerksam gemacht und sich eine riesige Fanbase in den Clubs der Republik erspielt. 

Auch uns haben seine Sets das Jahr über begleitet und geprägt, daher war schnell klar, wer für uns sein persönliches Best Of 2013 abmischen sollte. Um so mehr freuen wir uns das es geklappt hat und Nico Pusch für Euch seine Lieblings-Tracks des Jahres in einen einstündigen Podcast vereint.

The https://soundcloud.com/electro-swing-elite, or ESE for short, launched in Summer 2013 with the first B2B DJ-mix, with another great ESE mix volume 2 following shortly after.  The concept is an entire set of electro swing tracks mixed by several internationally renowned DJ's and fused in to one set.
The success to date can be seen and heard for Phos Toni, the organizer, DJ and father of the ESE mixes. The Soundcloud plays, comments, and likes clearly speak for themselves!

For the 3rd part of the ESE series, Phos Toni https://soundcloud.com/phostoni and Wolfgang Lohr https://soundcloud.com/wolfganglohr have joined together for a DJ mix with tracks produced and collected exclusively for this compilation. The label Ton Liebt Klang https://soundcloud.com/ton-liebt-klang (Hamburg) quickly fell in love with this idea, and publishes the compilation both digitally and on vinyl. 18 exclusive electro swing tracks are the result of artists who are very successful in other genres. Electro-Swing is a fusion of electronic dance music and 1920s, 1930's & 1940s Jazz and Big Band styles with genres such as House & Electro music, made popular by artists such as Parov Stelar

The Mix also includes a few tracks from the 'Balkan' style music that uses samples from old Russian / Balkan records. Then at the end of the mix it goes off on a tangent to the 1960s... :oD
