Calling upon a vast network of musicians from across the evolving frontiers of visionary music, Liquid Bloom and PERE have gathered the sounds of the global electronica scene into one momentous collection with ‘Afar Remixed.’ 

Consisting of seventeen genre-twisting tracks built from the duo’s trance-inducing musical blueprints, this imaginative remix album dives further into Liquid Bloom and PERE’s shared identity while exploring the cutting-edge world of psychedelic sound design.

Where 2021’s ‘Afar‘ hits its main stride in the realms of organic house, the 2022 remixes delve into a surrealistic mixture of progressive and broken beats within an omni-tempo framework, placing deep basslines and energetic grooves in brilliant opposition to the source material’s acoustic and vocal melodies. 

With reimagined tracks delving into lighter, darker, and more nebulous atmospheres, each author’s signature is made evident in the collection’s energetically diverse and emotionally magnetic structure, creating an experience for listeners that bares all of the hallmarks of a journey through the musical looking glass. 

As excursions into musical realms beyond boundaries become increasingly demanding, it is collections such as this one that reveal the persisting power of collaboration and the resilience of the creative spirit. While some elements of these songs may feel familiar — especially when compared to the source material — there remains an undeniable sense of discovery within each composition that will beckon listeners back into Liquid Bloom and PERE’s unified vision as well as into the expanded worlds of their remixers time and time again.

A realm of wild darkness and tranquilizing light, Liquid Bloom and TRIBONE’s ‘Interbeing’ explores the inextricably-bound forces of the musical universe through six mystifying tracks drawn from the lands of worldly downtempo, tribal bass, and driving psychedelic electronica.

Inspired by the fast-paced soundscapes of the global dance floor, the original ‘Interbeing’ mix unleashes a barrage of mid-tempo beats overlaid with primal energy and supported by a haunting psychedelic undercurrent that resounds through each track in the EP collection. 

Without slowing down, Liquid Bloom and TRIBONE bring additional space to Interbeing’s dark atmospheres with their hypnotic and tactile “Deep Tech Mix,” while producer-duo 'Jakare' provides a tantalizing tribal house remix flavored with additions of charango and pan flute.

Maintaining the psychedelic edge of the original composition, British psybass producer 'Sigil' draws listeners into a twisted breakbeat journey that plunges deeper into the original’s shadowy tones. 

Taking a more luminous path, 'Kaya Project' guides his rendition toward uplifting territory with his signature world-fusion style, introducing stirring organic beats, seraphic vocal samples, and a soothing blend of synths and instrumentation to draw out Interbeing’s brighter elements.

5 Liquid Bloom & TRIBONE - Interbeing (Original Mix)

ElectrowaveZ is a musical duo with a unique twist. The project is the brainchild of Charlie Shaabi and Richard Savo, two brothers that have a lot more in common then a strong personal bond. Their eclectic music taste allowed them to reach out to a broad audience throughout the Middle East and beyond, contributing to the massive outbreak of electronic music in contemporary Arab culture.
Their sound is a fusion between east and west, where mesmerizing melodies blend in with expertly crafted beats and powerful hooks.

Charlie and Richard are particularly attentive to their production aesthetics, creating detail-oriented tracks that feel vivid and vibrant, embodying a wide variety of influences, such as deep bass, edgy beats and psychedelic sonic carpets. ElectrowaveZ managed to leave a powerful mark on the music scene early on in their career, making waves with their debut album, “Brainstorm”, which was well-received by audiences and critics alike. In addition to their excellence in the studio, ElectrowaveZ are well-known for their magnetic and hypnotic live sets, which engage with the audience in a very innovative way.
