There’s something distinctly poetic to the sprawling sound collages of Ahmet Atakan, which he arranges around the pounding rhythm of his kickdrum from field recordings and anecdotal samples, piano chords and string entries, the singing of humans and the chanting of machines. He conjures up abstract states of emotion and morphs them playfully into specific thoughts, gracefully mixing up soulful and intelligent vibes. All of this makes his music a perfect match for a good, loud sound system, and also for the catalogue of Acker Special. The six tracks of the Words EP add up to something reminiscent of a mini album – and rumours have it that an extensive remix project is already brewing...

Dare is a producer from Moscow. Has been composing music since 2015. Last year he discovered a new genre - Organic downtempo with ethnic motives. Inspired by the style and music of Nicolas Jaar, Satori, as well as artists from the Lump label, LUMP is releasing his album, Rain Dance. On the album, he wanted to express his love for the genre by paying attention to detail. He also tried to express different moods, different atmospheres and different mixes of styles. Everyone can find something of their own for themselves. Dancing in the rain, blue skies, traveling alone and the beauty of the desert is what Dare felt when he wrote this album. Enjoy listening!

A member of the Lebanese electronica and techno scene, as a music producer and one of the first few in the Lebanese techno scene that perform live sets, Eli’s music career debuted in 2006 as a member and co-founder of the Lebanese band Awham Beirut, producing original Electro-Arab music. He then expanded into a a duo Indie dance project called Stripped (later known as STRPD), producing and performing live electronic and indie dance covers and original tracks on weekly basis from 2005 until 2020. 

Eli is also a member of the organic house and electronica duo Funkermonk, combining the traditional sounds of electronic dance music with techno electronica and ambient genre blends to produce original tracks and remixes. 

Eli’s uncompromising sounds have the distinction of being rooted in both the familiar and the mystical. As a producer and musician he playfully bends waves as an audial rendition of his uniquely organic journey. Eli has performed live techno and acid downtempo music at underground parties, festivals and big clubs in Lebanon. He has also released original tracks “Distortions of Beirut” on Groove Sensation Records, "Amber" on cafe de Anatolia, "Ya Dom" on Tibetania records.

Eli is currently playing two live ses, a clubby techno set and a hypnotic downtempo set using analogue and organic instruments to blend and bend the different genres that stimulate him and his audience. 
Eli has produced collaboratively with various artists and bands while teaching music production in parallel for the past 8 years; his new solo project is a reflection of his accumulated experiences focused on rhythmic progression and delicate technicality. 

While Eli is calm by nature, he allows himself to interact with his demons through his sounds, layering his tracks seamlessly with sharp noise that transport the listener smoothly along his well mastered melodies.
