Michael "Mikis" Theodorakis (Greek: Μιχαήλ (Μίκης) Θεοδωράκης [ˈmicis θeoðoˈɾacis]; born 29 July 1925) is a Greek songwriter of over 1000 songs and composer.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] He scored for the films Zorba the Greek (1964), Z (1969), and Serpico (1973). He is viewed as Greece's best-known living composer.[6][8][10][11][12][13]

Politically, he identified with the left until the late 1980s; in 1989 he ran as an independent candidate within the centre-right New Democracy party in order for the country to come out of the political crisis that had been created due to the numerous scandals of the government of Andreas Papandreou[14] and helped to establish a large coalition between conservatives, socialists and leftists. In 1990 he was elected to the parliament (as in 1964 and 1981), became a government minister under Constantine Mitsotakis, and fought against drugs and terrorism and for culture, education and better relations between Greece and Turkey. He continues to speak out in favor of left-liberal causes, Greek-Turkish-Cypriot relations, and against the War in Iraq.[15][16] He has consistently opposed oppressive regimes and was a key voice against the Greek junta 1967-1974, which imprisoned him.[17]

Elefterios Stampouloglou, mathematician, composer and greek music producer, was born in Nuremberg, Germany in 1973. 
In 1987 he taught himself to play bouzouki. In 1991 he moved to Thessaloniki, Greece and studied Mathematics from 1992 to 1998. Since 1999 he has lived in Berlin. In April 2001 he met the Greek legend lyricist Manolis Rasoulis, and together wrote his first songs (sung by Kostas Smokovits, Agathon and Giorgos Lizos). 
Since 1994 there have been many concerts in Germany and rest of Europe with many bands and artists including Manolis Rasoulis, Maria Farantouri, Vassilis Lekkas and Agathon. Many concerts were held in venues such as Philarmonie Berlin, Kammermusiksaal Berlin, Komische Oper Berlin and Volksbühne Berlin. 
Elefterios is also a greek folk, rembetiko and solo music songwriter and lyricist. As a musician, he has participated in the creation of many studio records and arrangements for other artists (among others for Vicky Leandros and Klaus Hoffmann).

Artemis was one of the most widely venerated of the Ancient Greek deities.
In the classical period of Greek mythology, Artemis was often described as the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the Hellenic goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness, virginity and protector of young girls, bringing and relieving disease in women; she often was depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows.The deer and the cypress were sacred to her. .
