Erica Henderson was born on Feb.24 1989 in Oxford NC. She started writing music and modeling at a young age, and while she is a singer/songwriter R&B/Hip-Hop, model, and inspiring actress, she tackles them all with a big range of styles. Using her angelic yet powerful voice empowered by her sexuality this R&B diva uses her lyrical talent to empower others. In 2014 Erica started to perform locally within North Carolina and dropped a self-titled EP, during this time Erica won the Bull City Music Awards “R&B Female of the Year” and was nominated for the Carolina Music Award “R&B Female of theYear”. Erica officially released her first self-
written single May 2016 “Freak You on the Low” recorded by Shawn “Dark keys” Carol. Along with the single, Erica released the official music video for “Freak You on the Low” and it went viral on one of the biggest social media platforms Facebook. It was during this time Erica won the Bull City Music Award for Video of the Year and was nominated for the Carolina Music Awards’ Video of the Year. In 2018, after taking a break away due to being diagnosed with depression, Erica refocused her energy and direction of her music by opening for R&B legend Avant. She continued to perform locally and re-released her single “Freak You on the Low” along with her newest single “One Call Away”. Erica plans to branch out and perform in areas within and outside of North Carolina. With the connection of new management, Erica is planning on releasing her new project (date TBA) and she is looking forward to future networking endeavors, interviews, and continuing to give back to her city/state thru her music platform.
