LY SAS - Berlin based Georgian DJ and producer - blends groovy techno with deep ambient and hypnotic synth layers, redefining modular techno. Her musical journey began with guitar and songwriting, evolving into electronic music through Prague’s underground scene. She’s released on labels like Different Sound and Brvtalist Sound Recording, collaborating with Ryogo Yamamori. From Bassiani to STAUB, her sets captivate, shaping immersive, transformative dancefloor experiences.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: How was your first DJ gig?
𝙇𝙔 𝙎𝘼𝙎: My first club gig was unforgettable. I still remember standing there, thinking if this is really happening? Just from mixing at home to now being on stage... It felt surreal. I was definitely nervous at first. I even messed up a transition early on and had that 'uh oh, maybe not today' moment. But then I told myself, just enjoy it. And that shift changed everything. Even now, those simple words fuel every set I play. It taught me that energy matters more than perfection.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Was there a specific moment after which you decided to make music full-time?
𝙇𝙔 𝙎𝘼𝙎: I don’t think there was one specific moment, it never really felt like a choice. I was always juggling different jobs alongside music, just figuring things out. But over time, music naturally started taking the lead. Gigs started coming in, and honestly, it’s hard to say no when the energy feels right. Now I’m grateful that most of my time is dedicated to music, connecting with like-minded people, and just growing with it all. It’s a journey, and I’m enjoying the ride.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: What inspires you and gives strengths?
𝙇𝙔 𝙎𝘼𝙎: New music always sparks inspiration for me, it’s like fuel. The support from the people close to me gives me real strength, the kind that keeps you grounded when things get heavy. Life itself, human experiences, the ups and downs... all of that feeds into what I create. I’ve always seen myself as a fighter, and that mindset gives me energy to keep moving forward. I also love being out there, whether it’s jam session bars, underground metal shows, or live music festivals, different genres, raw vibes, real emotion... that’s where I feel most connected and inspired.


𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Berlin - your new home forever?
𝙇𝙔 𝙎𝘼𝙎: Berlin is definitely a forever home, and it feels like it always has been. But Georgia is home too, and I always make time to be there with family. This August, I’m spending the whole month there. Still, Berlin has this amazing energy and cultural richness that constantly inspires me to grow, in music and in life. It keeps pushing me in all the best ways. So the answer is - yes!

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Any big plans for the near future?
𝙇𝙔 𝙎𝘼𝙎: I’m really excited about the music I have coming out soon, there’s a lot in the works. I’m also deep into some new projects, label and can’t wait to bring them to life. And of course, there are a few amazing clubs where I’ll be making my debut... always a thrill to keep excitement going!
