Es lag eine wundervolle Stimmung in der Luft und im Sand, so hab ich dann einfach in den Sonnenuntergang hinein gespielt und wurde mit tanzenden Beinen belohnt ;)

This is a very special podcast for myself. I had the plan to do something like this for over a year now. Just try to put yourself into position of Dave and his "partners". The exploration of the moon and mars is one big step for mankind and I can't imagine whats coming..

I've listened through over 5 hrs of NASA-material and this one isn't a usual mix. You won't find any real transitions but you will find some very interesting radio transmissions of the last Apollo missions.

Enjoy your ride through space and your stop on the moon. Have a good trip!

INSIDE OUT 

Das Mixtape gestaltete ich aus einem speziellen Anlass und ist SQΛW gewidmet, den ich in letzten Monaten auf Soundcloud kennenlernte. Dass er große Leidenschaft zur Musik zeigt, dürften viele von UNS schon wissen. 

Eigentlich ist das Mixtape aus einem spontanen Zufall entstanden, einer Kommunikation voller Überraschungen und viel Tiefgang. Als ich von Sam’s persönlicher Geschichte erfuhr, berührte sie mich sofort. Auch wenn es eine individuelle Geschichte ist, die niemand genauso erlebt haben kann,kann ich mich damit recht gut identifizieren… 
 
Mir wurde ziemlich schnell klar, dass wir dies musikalisch umsetzen müssen. Es ist eine Geschichte über Selbstschutz, die Rolle der Attraktivität und das Sein. Über den Gewinn und den Verlust. Gewinn und Verlust der Liebe - Liebe zu sich selbst und zum Anderen. Und wie man durch emotionale Verschlossenheit kostbare Zeit verliert, und das Unkomplizierte kompliziert wird. Eine Auf- und Abfahrt der Emotionen, genauso wie es das Leben schreibt und jeder einzelne von uns, der Liebe und Schmerz erfahren hat, sich darin wiederfinden wird. 

„Inside Out“ ist als ‘Plädoyer’ zu verstehen, um sich wieder unbefangen fühlen zu können- weit entfernt von emotionallen Masken. Dementsprechend habe ich versucht in Kooperation mit Sam eine musikalische Geschichte zu erzählen, die sich chronologisch mit den Phasen des Glücks, sich fallen lassens, Zustände der Verwirrung, Angst und Wut, der Beruhigung und dem Wiederfinden des eigenen Lebenssinns beschäftigt. 

In gewohnter Manier erschaffe ich von Beginn an einen sehr sphärischen Klangrahmen, der bis zum Ende existent bleibt.
