Heute rappelt's wieder mal schön in der Kiste. Gewohnt lässig, baumelt der Bass von einem Ohr zum anderen und lässt nebenbei auch den Rest des Körpers nicht zur Ruhe kommen. 

Voll abgespaced und unwillkürlich, zappeln die Extremitäten zum Sound aus den Lautsprechern. Vollgepumpt mit Bass in den Adern und Rhythmus im Blut, kommt die Erinnerung zurück "pump my body, pump my soul, pump my mind and lose control". 

@lasse_lambretta macht's möglich und beliefert uns mit dem, das wir so lieben, mit guter Musik.

This set is comprised of new & old unplayed material, and sound experiments I created in the build up to Fusion.

I want to say thank you to everyone, you made me feel something intense on this evening, returning home was never harder, and I'll never forget it.

Hach wie aber auch immer die Zeit vergeht … und schon wieder steht Weihnachten vor der Tür. Und natürlich auch in diesem Jahr überrasche euch mit meiner kleinen X-Mas Special-Reihe. 

Die Künstlerin für den X-mas Podcast hat dieses Jahr meine liebe Freundin Gina Sabatini entdeckt … und ihr Podcast für Afterhour Sounds hat mich so überzeugt das ich kitti mimizan dann für das Special gewinnen konnte. Johanna geht musikalisch so schön über den Tellerrand hinaus und webt das Ganze zu einem so fantastischen Soundteppich das man am liebsten damit fortfliegen möchte. Allein das schöne „Enjoy the silence“ Cover läuft hier in der Dauerschleife ;-) Danke Johanna für diese besinnliche Stunde &lt;3

Nun wünsche ich meinen geneigten Hörern, Follower, Freunden und allen Menschen eine ruhige und besinnliche Zeit.

sound(ge)cloud 102 Xmas special by kMIMIZAN – enjoy the silence

Oh boy, time does fly by. It's been eight years now since the first Montagssorbet, eleven years since our first party and we admit we sometimes do lose track of everything that happened over the course of time. We honestly enjoy to reminisce, dig up old releases or listen to single tracks, because each and everyone is linked to specific memories. Most of them quite powerful, many with a subliminal feel of pure content and gratitude for all those friendships that evolved. A unique web of shared moments, connecting so many people we'd have a hard time counting them. 

To this point though we never had the pleasure to listen to a whole mix combining these memories. Many thanks to @Mmmaaaeeesss who compiled this set with tracks from all 41 releases up to today, including all 7" Luettje Luise, which is a novum by itself considering they are vinyl only. Like sprinkling diamonds over a gem: »Mit Uns« took a quick break from everyday's hustle to reunite for a long overdue round of hand crafted musical glory. 

We hope you all enjoy this personal anthem as much as we did and maybe find some personal memories lying within aswell.

Nach einem schönen Gemeinschaftsausflug in das Schlafzimmer, stehen wir nun vor der Tür der Rumpelkammer. 
Die Türen öffnen sich und recht schnell bemerken wir ein ungewöhnliches Gefühl aus verwirrtem Interesse und bunten Grübeln über das Schauspiel, welches wir hier erblicken. 

Wie hängen all diese Dinge miteinander zusammen? Muss man da nicht mal etwas Ordnung hinein bringen ? Eine Schatzkiste mit Kabeln, ein Liegestuhl und ein altes Film-Vorführgerät ??? 
Die erste leichte Verwirrung, fühlt sich auf einmal recht wohl in diesem Unwissen und beschließt zu wachsen. 

Möglicherweise kann dieses Durcheinander sogar einen recht inspirierenden Effekt auf uns haben... Habt ihr schon mal einen Raum voll gestellt mit lauter Dingen die überhaupt kein Sinn machen ?...und euch dann mitten in diesen Raum gestellt, um das alles auf euch wirken zu lassen ? 

Wir auch nicht. Aber einen Versuch ist es wert. Im Ungeplanten entstehen oft brillante Ideen. Sagt man. 

Wir wollen uns bei @mattmosphere sehr herzlich, für sein musikalisches Portrait seiner Rumpelkammer bedanken. 
Eine Sammlung aus charmant Sonderbarem. Die Ordnung der Unordnung hätte niemand schöner darstellen können. 
Lasst euch rein willkürlich verzaubern. Jaquintos Reisen führen euch ins Ungewisse. Und wenn ihr wollt, lasst euch gerne auch noch dazu inspirieren, ein Leierkasten-Orchester zu gründen. Davon gibt es viel zu wenige in dieser Welt. 

Wir sind schon gespannt auf das nächste Zimmer...
