Midnight Garden is a contemplative affair, with plenty of air and time to breathe. Polymetric chimes and bass coalesce and give way to a shifting and evolving melody, a rumination intruding on glowing meditation. After the intricate thought runs its course, an anthem straight out of a 90's candy rave takes hold and celebrates the night, riding into a shimmering beyond.

Peaked is for after the afters. Droning acid and synths nonconforming with time swell and recede. Metallic crashing waves and simmering percussion become part of the scenery. Slight changes in ideas expand and further the descent into a meditative realm of glowing sound, and reach a pulsing density that feels refreshed.

Transigent closes this collection with a gently swelling lullaby. Stripped back to just raw melody and backing synths, there's plenty of room to breathe and reflect. Analog strumming and pulsing waves provide a backdrop to slowly building acid melody and wash into a final quiet meditation.

PUSH starts reasonably enough. An ethereal voice begins to insist that it needs to do more, and it soon tries to press on past the limit. The more it does the more twisted it becomes, wringing acid lines into contorted wails as unsettling chords permeate the atmosphere. A defiant melody rises to challenge this mindset but is ultimately defeated, strung out and confused.

Motion Complex doesn't sit still. Twisting and off-kilter bass gives foundation to nebulous chords, as percussion flows through and around. It becomes unbalanced, only to eventually find itself on firm footing, finally able to breathe in this unstable equilibrium. It lasts for a moment, only to go under again, but still striving to find that strange crystalline peace hidden within the constant shifting unknown.

Fixed Limit will not admit defeat. Clawing its way up from the depths of some devastating blow, it finds itself in chaos. White-capped bass waves roll through incessant chatter, increasingly pushing the need for a connected thought and respite from the turmoil. Suddenly upright once again, in forceful unison bass and lead surge forward, resolute in attaining its goal. Desperate longing soon hinders its momentum, and it stumbles with the realization that the limits of determination will not allow it to prevail.
