Catching up on some the backlog of mixes I've not uploaded, this one was from my Birthday back in September.  Starting off all chill and melancholic we go on a little journey into the void, gradually picking up the pace building up to a full on finish.

Moin Leutis,
nach einem längeren Winterschlaf, starten wir mit einem neuen MUSHCAST in die zweite Runde. 

Wir haben Raesa eingeladen, uns mit auf eine verträumte Reise  zu nehmen. 
Doch wer steht eigentlich hinter dem Namen Raesa? 

hier eine kurze Beschreibung: 
Raesa sind Rae und Esa. Schon viele Jahre trifft man sie hier und dort auf den Tanzflächen der Stadt Greifswald. Das Schicksal führte sie vor zwei Jahren musikalisch zusammen, um uns mit ihrer Musik zu verzaubern.  
Es entsteht ein Spektakel elektronischer Musik. Immer wieder trifft altes auf neues. 

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass sie unserer Einladung gefolgt sind und vielleicht könnt ihr sie bald öfters hören auf unseren Veranstaltungen. Doch so viel wollen wir noch nicht verraten :) 

Und jetzt schließt eure Augen und kommt mit uns auf eine verträumte Reise in andere Welten!

MUSHCAST 02: Raesa

@soundofnyx ist eine talentierte DJ aus Bingen, die sich in verschiedenen kulturellen Projekten engagiert. Sie ist Mitglied des DJ-Kollektivs @floorxfauna und arbeitet auch an anderen Veranstaltungen aus verschiedensten Musikrichtungen mit. In jüngster Zeit hat sie das Label 'wvvy' gegründet, das unter dem Hauptlabel @vinyl-digital-com operiert und sich auf Lofi House und House Projekte spezialisiert hat.
Sie hat eine unverkennbare Leidenschaft für das Nachtleben und Musik, was sie in ihren Sets zum Ausdruck bringt. Bei ihrem Elektrofasenacht-Set hat sie das Publikum mit ihren groovigen und dennoch deepen Beats 2 Stunden lang in ihren Bann gezogen und den Laden zum Kochen gebracht. Lasst euch also die Chance, in den energetischen Vibe des Abends einzutauchen, nicht entgehen!

Bio:

Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.

Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you.

You can find some of his his Netlabelmixes @ mixotic.net and many other Mixes @ some amazing Podcasts around the Worldwideweb. Welcome to episode # 15. My name is Liz and I’ll be your host again. This year, I will only be interviewing women so be my guest today when I speak to DJ and producer from Sweden, @robine_music. She has had a deep relationship with music since being in her mother’s womb working at Café Opera in Stockholm. Every 5 years Robine found herself moving to a different city and it was a special encounter at @amsterdamdanceevent that let her move to Berlin. With a background in tech and working at Spotify, she eventually found her way to producing music. Fast forward to today, she has produced for @ein2 and is a regular act at Berlin clubs such as @kater_blau, Ritter Butzke, and @sisyphos-berlin. She is also part of the collectives Variety and @beschaeftigungstherapie. Heute präsentieren wir euch unsere Nummer 10 Johann Bello viel Spaß damit. 

Inspiriert von organischen und orientalischen Klängen fing der 27-jährige Wahl-Berliner Johann Bello (bürgerlich Paul) mit seinem Downtempo Projekt vor etwa 3 Jahren an, nachdem er hauptsächlich als Melodic Techno DJ unterwegs war. Mit dem kreativen Einsatz von seinem eigenen Signature Kalimba Sound gepaart mit Synthesizern und organischen Percussion Sounds entwickelt er seinen eigenen lebendigen Style. Sein Sound lässt sich als emotional, melancholisch, teils geheimnisvoll und doch treibend beschreiben. Seine wichtigsten Einflüsse sind Künstler wie Arutani, Martha van straaten oder Rampue. In diesem Jahr stehen bereits 2 neue EPs an. Stay tuned!

Ein Leben ohne Musik beschrieben in einem Wort =Tristesse. 
Musik ist eine Herzenssache. So war und ist es auch heute noch. Ich kaufe und spiele keine Tracks für die Crowdsourcing oder den Club, sondern das was mich bewegt. Und genau darin sehe ich meine größte Erfüllung beim Auflegen, meine Emotionen ins Publikum zu transportieren und sie an meinen Gefühlen teilhaben zu lassen.

A life without music described in one word = sadness. Music is a matter of the heart. It was and still is today. I don't buy and play tracks for the crow or the club, but what moves me. And that's exactly where I see my greatest fulfillment when DJing, transporting my emotions to the audience and letting them share my feelings.
