We start the label off this year with a special debut by local Producer & Dj @lukeetaylor. "Headrush" is nothing short of . which is a result of his high musical erudition from years of experience. Luke has developed a truly unique sonic experience, hitting all the right spots, Each song having a strong narrative, intricate arrangements and pure feelings. A natural push and pull on the heartstrings.

Luke features three originals, with Headrush being our personal favourite which immediately caught our attention. It also features three remixes rounded off by international producer OX, who took a fresh and twisted approach to the original, an interpretation by Leeu, who headed in a more lucid dubby downtempo path & lastly, Vox Portent, who surprised us with a cheeky stripped back techno edit.

Während in Süddeutschland die ersten warmen Sonnenstrahlen so manch ein Schneeglöckchen aus der frostgebeutelten Erde locken, erwachen auch unsere Lebensgeister langsam aus dem langen Winterschlaf. Winter-Melancholie, Frostbeulen und grauer Januar - all das liegt nun hinter uns.
Den passenden Soundtrack dazu liefert die Bengal EP von Der Letzte Zwilling, mit welcher der auch über die Grenzen Freiburgs bekannte Downtempo-Liebhaber endgültig seinen Neustart als Musik-Produzent markiert. Sein neuer Track Nepal umspielt die Ohren zunächst mit einer tanzenden Melodie, die nach und nach durch verträumte Vocals und perkussive Rhythmen zu einer ausgefeilten Gesamtkomposition ergänzt wird und uns Lauschende zum Träumen an unbeschwerte Sommertage verführt.
Den dreifachen Impuls, diese Schwärmereien zu realisieren, geben darüber hinaus die innovativ präsentierten Remixe von Raddantze, Drückeberger und Pay Kusten – etwa mithilfe von tiefen Baselines, groovy High-Hats oder funkiger Percussions, die jedes noch so müde Tanzbein auf den Dancefloor locken werden.
