This month is dedicated to BREAKBEAT or what my friends and I call, Booty Bouncin Breaks. Breaks as a genre (broken beat) means something different all over the world and changes throughout the decades. This set focuses on what breakbeat was to me in the early and mid 2000s when I started attending clubs and festivals. Breakbeat is still championed today by heavy weights in the scene like Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, Decline & Wizard, The Freestylers and MBreaks just to name a few. While scouring the internet for this music it became apparent that (Spain) is clearly doing their part to keep this incredible genre alive.
