it's a repetitive motion of multiphonic slaptongues, amplified by electronic processing in max lloopp ppooll. of course in real time w/ exception of the 2 end chords. this little work is meant to be released on cassette in 2020. here http://inpolysons.free.fr/en/truc.html

in general for a lot of my works here, what you hear (or can experience) as an overall effect is that of close proximity to the source of the sound and the instrument and what it 'moves' : my breath, its pressure and release, my body and hands and fingers. one can hear the tones forming together with key movements. but its altered states simultaneously takes you away from it into a larger space. well, the charm and spell could. it's like magic realism, it's like being at 2 places. overall: it's bass clarinet samples arranged & transformed in  granular acts, sometimes paired with some digital pulses in a maxmsp environment.

Routing in Jackpilot. recorded in Ardour, screen rec in Quicktime. Yamaha Bassclarinet, VanDoorn 3.5 reed (nice & breezy)
