Kid Machine is a producer based in Manchester. He broke on to the scene with his now-classic “Replicants” EP on the mighty Viewlexx in 2012, which led to him regularly touring the festivals and clubs of Europe ever since.

Heavily influenced by the '80s Synth music, especially Italo Disco, New Beat, Synthpop, and Electro, you can find him releasing on Manchester’s Red Laser and labels across the globe. Most recently he’s had albums and EPs on Aspecto Humano and Libertine from Barcelona and Berlin respectively.

Shiza offer a warm welcome to Sapurra on the label, who brings you ‘K Dance’, a three tracker EP with Defaultman and Anton Kubikov working their magic on the remixes. 
Smooth wafting subs and melodic chord sequences open up ‘K Dance’, multiplying and morphing into a harmonious display that explodes into life by an uplifting and crunching breakbeat.
On the flips, both Defaultman and Anton Kubikov scrap the original’s slow building crescendos and transforms its warm chordal sequences into a set of peak time attacks that both explore the realms of minimal, acid and deep house.

Creativity comes naturally to Berlin-based DJ and producer Marlene Stark. While most might know her through her residency at the intimate haven that is Sameheads, her talents stretch far beyond her alluring DJ sets and across various tricks and trades. 

Heading up SUPERPOSITION, her party series and Cashmere Radio show of the same name, Marlene's heady, brooding soundscapes, that take influence from wave, techno, experimental and industrial, are channeled through her own productions which have formerly graced imprints like Copenhagen's Music For Dreams, Lustpoderosa and, of course, Sameheads. 

On top of her musical feats, Marlene is also an artist and a writer who, in 2019 alongside Anna Gien, published her first novel titled 'M', which focuses on the underground scene in Neukölln in East Berlin, and the empowerment of one's own body and desires. 

As she gears up for the release of her new EP Hyäne, a triumphant return to local label Lustpoderosa, to celebrate we invited her to deliver a mix of rich, rhythmic wave and industrial sounds... This is music for the body.
