Elenne May was born in Holland in 1988, but grew up in Australia. It was here that her longing to wander was discovered and that the greatness of the universe was whispered to her. This greatness and her fascination for human structures and patterns, inspired the Velvet Beings music theater. Potential Child is part of this music theater and embraces the different body gestures, appearance expectations, status positions and the natural longing to belong.

Elenne May was born in Holland in 1988, but grew up in Australia. It was here that her longing to wander was discovered and that the greatness of the universe was whispered to her. This greatness and her fascination for human structures and patterns, inspired the Velvet Beings music theater, the singles and their video clips. 
As songwriter, part recording producer, video producer and visual artist, the Velvet Beings song/video series is Elenne May’s gift to humankind. Created as an echo to our times and an invitation to deeper human connections.
Velvet Beings is the last single release of the EP, carrying the same name. She represents the remembrance of the authentic and sensual self, and the richness of connecting with other (Velvet) beings. Elenne's first love song ever written!
