Known to his friends as Zak, simbasōl is an electronic music producer, performer & recording artist based in Montreal.He was dancing as soon as he learned to walk, thanks to the music-induced lifestyle his ever-dancing-parents had set out for him. It wasn’t long before simbasōl found his calling under the disco ball & soon after made the jump to maestro,chasing his dreams of contributing to the healing vibrations that music breeds in the world. 

“I envision myself as a guiding force on the decks, influenced & humbled by the journey of those tuning in & sharing their own journey with me. 
My promise? To keep my antennae at the ON position & vowing to ever be a student to the world around me, & serving as a mirror to its beauty 
with my own unique twist. 
For me, the essence of music is Love, Hope, & the revelation that Happiness is not some distant dream... 
but a tangible reality within reach.” 

Simbasōl has been a pillar of community & an inspiration to all of those revolving around him, not only for his ability to guide us through soulful musical journeys, but also to tap into the listener’s heart & awake emotions. 

Constructed around hard-hitting baselines, groovy percussions & four dimensional synths, simbasōl’s sound is much more than that; His magic is served in authenticity from his inner world, where time seems to stop when he works his craft.

Sometimes, it’s not just about where you’re flying, but why you choose to take off in the first place. 'Where Do You Wanna Fly' isn’t just a mix – it’s a search, a moment to pause, a look inward where music isn’t just heard but deeply felt.

The first sound is like a breath of fresh air, a moment of clarity. The journey begins softly, almost cautiously, as if it’s inviting you to take its hand and prepare for something greater. The melodies feel like fragments of memories – warm, familiar, yet cloaked in mystery.

But as each track unfolds, the atmosphere thickens, the sounds grow bolder. The rhythms push you forward, daring you to let go. It’s as if the music begins to ask questions you’ve avoided for so long: Where do you really want to go? What are you running from? Or are you simply searching for a place to feel free?

Midway through, you feel everything intensify – basslines that synchronize with your heartbeat, melodies that briefly lead you into darkness, only to guide you back into the light. This is where something magical happens: the tracks don’t just blend with each other, they blend with you. They pull you into a state where time disappears, and you’re left with nothing but presence.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
