Cuando era niño, en mi barrio había un deambulante veterano de guerra, el Sr. Mangual, que pasaba por las casas anunciando que él controlaba el tiempo y el sol. Acto seguido, decía que tenía derecho a $5 diarios por sus labores y, ocasionalmente aceptaba donativos de comida. Al cabo de los años, no se supo más de él.

Hace unos años mi padre escribió un cuento corto sobre él, reconociendo su ausencia y destacando que tal vez las labores de Mangual eran más necesarias en estos días que nunca. De ahí surge este tema. 

Si alguien sabe de él, déjenle saber que lo estaremos esperando.

When I was young, there was a homeless veteran wanderer in my town, Mr. Mangual, who went around the houses announcing that he controlled the weather and the sun. Thereafter, he would inform everyone that he had the right to a daily $5 allowance for his endeavors, and, occasionally, would accept food donations. Over the years, we stopped seeing him around.

A few years ago my father wrote a short story about him, acknowledging his absence and noting that maybe Mangual’s work was needed now more than ever. That is the origin of this track.

If anyone knows where he is, let him know we're waiting for his return.

This is an attempt at NIN's track Hurt.
NIN is one of my favorite bands and biggest influences.

Shout out to Trent Reznor for making such sick music.
