Music is all about having fun, right? It’s the reason why Elevate bring you releases, and it’s the motivation behind many artists on stage. Subsonic is one of them. If you’re familiar with his sound then you’ll know his music is all about having fun and creating something people can dance to. From his link up with the immense vocal talent of Ruth Royall on “Hold On”, to the awesome jump up/dancefloor hybrid of “Need Me”. It doesn’t matter what the track is, as soon as Subsonic touches it you know it will make you want to move!

Despite being around for a few years now, we are still only scratching the surface of what this young UK producer is capable of. Subsonic’s latest creation on Elevate “Last Time” is another nod to an unpredictable talent who is enjoying experimenting with his music. From the tight dancefloor groove to the wicked switch on the second chorus, Subsonic continues to excite with every release. No Gravity’ is the fifth release on our self-titled label that we started last year.  To us it represents the quintessential Delta Heavy sound; a journey from darkness to light, with a cinematic intro, plenty of dancefloor energy and a catchy melody.  We actually wrote the instrumental with a different vocal but felt the two didn’t align well. We stumbled upon an older, unused acapella we had lying around the hard drive from one of our favourite vocalists and it ended up suiting the mood of the track perfectly. You may recognise her voice from our tracks White Flag and Ghost, it’s quite iconic!

Kicking off 2024 in scintillating style with one of drum and bass' hottest duo's Freaks & Geeks, Elevate Records are excited to present 'Lost My Mind', a superb dancefloor D&B cut that combines infectious melodies and an exuberant amount of electrifying energy with the vocals of Los Angeles-based star Tima Dee, whose past work includes a mesmerising topline on Oscar-nominated track 'Audible' and collabs with the likes of Tritonal & Borgore.

Following on from the huge streaming success of tracks such as 'Elemental' (Feat. Emily Makis), 'Waiting For You', and 'Freefalling', Freaks & Geeks and their high-octane, vocal-driven sound have become a major force since their debut release in 2020.
