Dub FX is a man who needs no introduction. The beatboxer/singer/producer has become a huge musical force on a worldwide level, crossing over genres to reach audiences as wide as they are large.

Dub FX's vocals combine with High Maintenance’s trademark sound to deliver a killer dance-floor record, with ‘Light Me On Fire’ providing the perfect balance between musicality and high energy. ‘Light Me On Fire’ also serves as the first single from Dub FX’s forthcoming ‘Theory of Harmony: Remixes LP’, set for release on Audioporn in spring of 2015 with remixes from the likes of Xilent, Random Movement, BCee, Makoto and more. 

Dub FX has gained an impressive worldwide following for his unique brand of loop artistry; a technique where he creates music entirely with his own voice while singing, rapping and vibing over the beat he has laid down. Famed for paying homage to his roots by performing free street shows; the most recent of which took place in Budapest and attracted upwards of 5,000 people who filled the city park to watch him live in action. Dub FX’s recent performance with Adrian V and Eva Lazarus at London’s O2 Arena for the 2014 Drum & Bass Arena Awards was lauded by Drum & Bass’ most influential and respected heavyweights.

Dub FX - 'Light Me On Fire (High Maintenance Remix)

Cyantific has been on fire as of late with a Beatport #1 single 'High Water Mark' along with official remixes of two UK Top 10 hits with Mike Mago & Dragonette's 'Outlines' and Dr Kucho! & Gregor Salt's 'Can't Stop Playing (Makes Me High)'.

Now set to drop his new single 'Colour In The Shadows', Cyantific is bringing the festival vibes with this vocal anthem featuring Benji on vocals and a grimey dancefloor killer 'No More Heroes' on the flip.

Fresh off the back of Toronto Is Broken’s official remix of Netsky’s “Snitch ft. Aloe Blacc” (over 200k streams on Spotify) and Deuce & Charger’s late summer anthem “We Are Made Of Light” (“hands-in-the-air vocals and euphoric nods aplenty” – DJ Mag), the two acts round off a huge 2019 with their long-awaited collaboration, “Pressure” (YANA004). These artists already have a strong history of working together; first with D&C featuring on Toronto’s track “Nothingness Lasts Forever” on his acclaimed 2018 Viper Recordings album “You Are (Not) Alone” and more recently with Toronto remixing “We Are Made of Light” (turning “a classic summer D&B ballad into a fall and winter stunner” – YourEDM).

Their new collaboration does not disappoint. Combining Toronto’s atmospheric sound design and instinctive talent for crafting a dancefloor-moving drop with D&C’s ear for melodic hooks and emotive vocals, the tune rides on a strutting synth-powered rhythm track. Risers and percussion flourishes push the production hard as the track builds, driving to match the lyrical intensity.

Arriving just in time for Xmas and NYE raves, “Pressure” pulls off that rare trick of smashing it on club systems, while also having the hooks to sound big on radio and streaming. Firmly establishing both artists as “ones to watch” for 2020, YANA004 drops on 13th December 2019 on all major online stores and streaming platforms.
