As Cork-based murademura begins to delve into the world of production, with his first releases in sight you can begin to the feel the years of dedication to music paying off for the blossoming talent. Uncovering dusty old gems, and innovative new sounds has taken up a large chapter of his story so far. After discovering a friends vast record collection the curiosity kicked in, and has developed into something quite spectacular in recent years, the never ending search for the "perfect" sound and vibe, a fine detail which you can familiarise yourself with when listening to his productions.

After so much time spent looking for new music Murademura decided to try his hand in the studio, and join Hybrasil's Elevator Program, after an ongoing successful relationship between all involved his debut three tracker will see the light of day at the back end of 2022 on the Elevator label. An amalgamation of moods, raw house cuts with deep and a dubby energy, occasionally leaning towards the techno spectrum.

Moving forward you can expect to hear much more from Murademura as he sets his grips firmly on a positive 2023 full of new music and developing his sound.

Branching out from the Elevator Program teaching initiative is the Elevator Label, a platform for graduates of their Advanced Music Production Programme. 

After a stellar debut release in the form of his acclaimed “Reosc!llate” album, Irish producer REOSC makes his return to the Elevator Program label with three further original cuts, deep and diverse shades of techno sitting comfortably on the exciting label. After graduating from the Elevator Program course REOSC finds himself in his element, showcasing his yearning passion and natural ability in the realms of electronic music within his “Here And Now” EP. 

First up is “Dublin313”, paying homage to the capital of REOSC’s native country of Ireland, and crossing that over with the Detroit area code, something you can also recognise in the enormous sound of the track. Title track “Here And Now” continuously evolves, driven by a stern kick and distinctive hi-hats, with transcending pads and synths wandering around the forward motion. The last of the EP “Structural Intent” is built upon a pulsating energy, throbbing as the action unfolds. The intelligently arranged drum work begins to urge your thought process to new heights, becoming absorbed by the eccentric energy REOSC has created. 

Hybrasil continues to curate and teach with the Elevator Program project, giving graduates the chance to showcase their sound and release music on an exciting platform, giving back with the community feel at the heart of the initiative. REOSC setting up shop for what is set to be another sought after release.

Julia Tamzyn releases her debut EP, Refraction on June 30th 2023 with Elevator Program, featuring 4 Deep and Organic House tracks that blend smoldering beats with vocal harmonies that will get under your skin. These sublime dance-floor tunes manage to feel fragile and powerful, nostalgic and up-lifting. Not only do they reflect Julia’s craft but also the cityscapes that inspired them; Barcelona, Warsaw, Vienna and Berlin, making them intimate and timeless. 

Julia sets the tone of Refraction with a classic sunrise track, Let Things Go. Opening on a tableau of shadowy snares that build to tender piano notes, this track showcases the haunting heartbreak of Pete Simpson’s vocals. The delicate interplay of velvety, aching vocal and sinuous percussion falls to a soft decrescendo and comes back to a thumping beat, making it impossible not to get up and dance. From here, Julia goes deeper.. 

The next track, By Night, is reminiscent of the best of early 2000s deep house with its ghostly vocal flourishes, heartfelt melodic refrain and warm beats. Written in Warsaw in the early hours, this tune evokes the atmospherics of the city’s late night beauty. 

Nova follows and couldn’t be more different – playful with a textured rhythm. Written in the final days of a summer in Vienna, you can feel the sun on your face as the guitar riff takes you away.

Likewise, the last tune, Origins, will carry you to distant lands. With its rowdy beat and tribal bass-line, this tune has an anthem-like quality that demands turning the stereo up full volume. 

ARTIST BIO 

Julia Tamzyn started her DJ career on pirate radio in the 90s in Sheffield, U.K. Since then, she’s gone on to perform sets at hundreds of gigs and residencies in clubs worldwide, including Berlin (Ostgut/Klunkerkranich), Hong Kong (Drop/Ozone), and New York (Gateway, Konkrete Jungle). She started producing her own music in 2018 using Ableton Live. 

In 2020, she worked with Will Kinsella’s (Hybrasil) Elevator Program to hone her Ableton skills, and later, she joined Paul Nolan’s MYT community and received pivotal feedback on her music. Now, in 2023, she is releasing her debut EP with Will Kinsella’s Elevator Program label. She also recently launched a Youtube channel for mini-performances using a variety of controllers and Ableton Live. She’s currently working on a second EP and a full live performance of original music.

Hybrasil’s Elevator Program turns out the next body of work from a course graduate. Next on the label is Ethos, a Dublin based producer and DJ who recently honed his craft under the guidance of the tuition program.

They present to you three thunderous techno tracks with a rugged edge for the peak hours of the night, the debut release from the exciting new producer - “Devil’s Paradise”. Multiple decades of fascination with electronic music has led Ethos to this stage of his life, drawing early influences from the likes of Kraftwerk and The Prodigy, recording tapes at a young age and listening to
them over and over again.

This organic curiosity for music led him to 20 years worth of travel working in bars, exploring different scenes and culture before heading to Dublin where he himself would learn to DJ and then begin to produce in 2022 with Elevator, bringing us right up to his first outing as a producer.

“Stropharia” opens the EP, it is intricately made for huge, industrial settings, nodding your mind towards illegal warehouse parties and concrete jungles. The dance floor quickly loses their sense of reality with this driven outing. Title track “Devil’s Paradise” is a pulsating trip, the chugging belly of the track
conversing with the ravey beeps and bleeps. The last track “E.S.R” maintains the animated energy of the release, keeping the raw vibe at the heartbeat of every movement.

A debut EP from Ethos, showcasing his diverse sound across the three tracks with many other productions also on the way, and Elevator once again providing a solid platform for their course graduates, now extending their affiliation even further.

ETHOS:

Ethos is a techno concept based in Dublin Ireland. The concept was born in 2022 with debut releases coming in July 2023 on the Elevator Program. Ethos is an ancient Greek term used to describe music’s moral force in educating the soul, the mind, and the behaviour of an individual. This became known as the doctrine of Ethos.

Starting from the ground up, through mentorship with Hybrasil, Ethos developed a solid foundation and a deep understanding of Ableton and advanced music production. Following all the steps, he has now produced his first EP Devil’s Paradise on Elevator Program Label. July 28th, 2023.

Returning to the Elevator Program label this summer is flourishing techno talent, KERZ. The tenth release on
the label “NO” sees the Artist Development Program graduate showcase his second release, this time choosing
the album format, an extension and evolution of his sound spread across eight enormous cuts. The ideas that
drive the record are based upon the fast paced world we live in that works towards an A.I driven society, this
release embodies the exact opposite. We are in need of the underground more than ever, maintaining the rich
culture in electronic music is only possible by doing these things.
Years on the dance floor, and playing around his native country of Ireland have seen the multi-instrumentalist
construct some of his finest work to date, absorbing influences over the years and now being able to express
himself and inject them into his sound. The anticipated body of work delves deep into the realms of
mysterious and peak time techno, driven with attitude, but intricately arranged to enhance the dance floor
experience.
The Elevator Program forged by Hybrasil and his team continues to share knowledge and provide a platform
for aspiring artists to learn, and share their music. KERZ being a prime example of what exactly is possible

Making his return to the Elevator Program label this August is flourishing Irish producer, murademura. “Space Cult Magic” sees an evolution of his diverse sound, paying testament to murademura’s dedication to the cause, as he addresses a multitude of textures spread across the four tracks on show here, maintaining a consistent flow of positive energy from start to finish. 

For a chunk of the Cork based artists life collecting records was where the fascination laid, but a few years ago this unwavering passion led to him beginning his journey of production. With his second release he presents another reason as to why he should continue pulling in that exact direction. Every minor detail is accounted for as he blurs the lines between dub, house and techno, with a meditative energy pulsating at the heartbeat. 

Leading the way is “Satori”, constructed upon a distinct organic energy. Balmy pads shimmer brightly as the stripped back drum patterns develop throughout, deep and hypnotic as it travels. A beautiful trip for the memorable morning moments. Continuing the emotive energy in to the next track, murademura shares some delicate dub delight in “Teknoji”, subtle tones wandering between the crisp drive of the track, like an underwater cruise into the depths of the night. The title track is a pensive and hazy trip of tranquillity, ethereal textures combining to create an otherworldly depth to the track. Soothing house sounds for the soul in the final track of the EP, “Twilights”, an idyllic drift into the cosiest of environments, cinematic as you find yourself drifting away from reality.
