We are delighted to welcome Swedish producer Whirl with his superb 'Time Arc EP' to ICONYC. The talented producer has been causing a stir within the scene with his unique and lasting productions. Whirl developed an inimitable style of music, full of drive, paired with despondent and warm dreamy patterns that guided them to where he is today and embodies the sound, he now personifies. 
 
On his debut Whirl leads with the outstanding 'Aevum'; a stunning driving melodic affair with some techno elements for good measure. The track utilizes a deep groove as foundation, underpinned by a profound bass and driving synth chords that gradually ease their way to the summit. Unified by a deep kick drum and dusky atmospheric emotion, the composition climaxes by adding recurrent percussive elements and soft soaked melodies that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction. Clever synth phrases complete the picture to create an ingeniously worked piece of art. 

The melodic soundscapes of the accompanying track 'Arc' rounds off this spectacular release. Whirl's influences are immediately evident as subtle freeform concepts drift through percussive inspired instrumentations. Rippling melodies trip along a deep kick that anchors an auricular montage to create a special sonic infused moment, complemented by a stunning groove that is going to leave a mark on your aural perception. Stunningly textured pads that warm the soul and a strong melodic infused bassline provide the base for this inspired piece to play out in delayed glory. Essential stuff!

With Whirl's debut outing on ICONYC, he takes his talents a step further to round off this brilliant underground 2 track crowd pleaser. Returning with the 7th instalment of his "Perspectives Around The World" series, Darin Epsilon's label sees artists from across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North and South America gather with fresh and innovative new music.

Born into a transitional Chile towards the end of Augusto Pinochet's brutal regime, Rafa Silva's upbringing in a country of shifting power and mass contradiction shaped the young Chilean's musical perspective. Involved in a range of cultural activities, Rafa eventually combined classical piano, sound design, and production know-how into a successful formula that has seen releases on Ritter Butzke Records, Poker Flat, and Balance Music as part of Hannes Bieger's 2022 compilation album. Returning to Perspectives Digital after a successful remix of Cary Crank, "Tabula Rasa" is a smoothly cadenced track that revels in rolling groove and mesmerizing bass sequence. A modulated single-note arp combines with smooth pad progression into the breakdown before a gloriously incongruous retro house phrase heralds the return of familiar bass and rhythmic components.

Eleven Elements is a Melbourne based Melodic Techno, Progressive and Trance DJ/Producer. Producing since 2010, he released his first EP in 2014 under the name "The Australian" on Italian label Mystika Records. In 2014 he released his first Electro House single with the L.A. based label Pop Rox Muzik and in 2015 remixed Soniq State's single "The Return" which was a Tech Trance crossover. Eleven Elements now debuts his latest Tech Trancer "Thanusha" on Trance Terminal Recordings, with a powerful Uplifting Trance remix by Enfortro.
