Watching Trees - bedroom demo (1985)

For our landmark 20th release on the label it's a pleasure to welcome Desert Island Disco. A collective based out of Lisbon & London they have delivered for us the Shell Beach EP, a collection of balmy cuts rich in colour and melody and packed with dance-floor power perfect for the rise in temperatures. On the remix Joe Morris applies his balearic beach breaks vibe while Statues slows the tempo with an chugging Italo-house refix.

Pearls 2 Swine

Jeff Gallea formed ELEVEN POND in 1986 with Rochester, NY school + scenemates James Tabbi, Lyle Wells, Dan Brumley, Jack Schaeffer and Tim Masick. They released 'Bas Relief' on Game Hen Records in 1986 recorded in an empty swimming pool sound studio. A second unreleased album titled 'Assemblage' was recorded in 1987 but never released. The band broke up in 1987... then reformed in 2009 due to internet attention. ELEVEN POND is currently recording and performing new and old music.  Current releases are 'Love+Madness' (2013/EP) and 'Wireform' (2016/EP)
