Returning with the 7th instalment of his "Perspectives Around The World" series, Darin Epsilon's label sees artists from across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North and South America gather with fresh and innovative new music.

Born into a transitional Chile towards the end of Augusto Pinochet's brutal regime, Rafa Silva's upbringing in a country of shifting power and mass contradiction shaped the young Chilean's musical perspective. Involved in a range of cultural activities, Rafa eventually combined classical piano, sound design, and production know-how into a successful formula that has seen releases on Ritter Butzke Records, Poker Flat, and Balance Music as part of Hannes Bieger's 2022 compilation album. Returning to Perspectives Digital after a successful remix of Cary Crank, "Tabula Rasa" is a smoothly cadenced track that revels in rolling groove and mesmerizing bass sequence. A modulated single-note arp combines with smooth pad progression into the breakdown before a gloriously incongruous retro house phrase heralds the return of familiar bass and rhythmic components.
