Patiperro EP is the first official release of El Extravagante, @FelipeNadeau side project, a release through Regional Label. A mix of Electronic Folklore, Digital Cumbia and World Music, with the remixes of some of the most promising artists of these genres in Latin America. 

Patiperro in the Chilean slang means someone who travels a lot (somehow like an adventuring street dog) and this EP is about that. Made in between Niagara Falls/Toronto in Canada and Santiago de Chile, with influences from all over the world through a Latin perspective, El Extravagante puts up an EP with instruments played by him like Didgeridoo (Australia, place where he lived for 1 year), Sytar & Tabla (from India featuring Kishor and Pablo), Claves, Latin Drums, Zampoña and of course, analog synthesizers and digital software such as Ableton Live and Reaktor, all with the latin touch and flavor. Patiperro EP es el primer lanzamiento oficial de ¨El Extravagante¨, el proyecto paralelo de @FelipeNadeau lanzado por @RegionalLabel. Mezclando Folklore Electrónico, Digital Cumbia y World Music, con los remixes de parte de los artistas más prometedores de estos géneros en Latinoamérica. 

Patiperro en el slang Chileno se le dice a alguien que viaja mucho, de la imagen muy latinoamericana del perrito callejero libre y aventurero. El EP fue creado principalmente en Canadá y terminado en Chile, con influencias de todo el mundo incluyendo instrumentos interpretados por él como Didgeridoo de Australia (donde vivió por 1 año), Sítara y Tabla de India (aporte de Kishor y Pablo), Claves, Tambores, Zampoña y por supuesto, sintetizadores análogos y software digital como Ableton Live y Reaktor, todo con el toque y sabor latino. ¨El Extravagante¨ is a synthesizers passionate & psychedelic cumbia magician, a Chilean music producer & DJ based in France, exploring the frontiers of traditional and electronic music with an Afro-Latin root and a hot tropical edge 🌴😎✌

Apart from being an artist, Felipe Nadeau, the man behind the character is a culture and arts manager co-directing the beautiful projects known as  @CosmovisionRecords (Canada) &  @RitmosDelSur (Chile), spreading love for the new forms of folklore and electronic music from LatinAmerica and all the world. Both projects aiming to welcome and unite all the people through the Universal language of rhythm.

¨El Extravagante¨ es un apasionado de los sintetizadores y mago de la cumbia psicodélica. Un productor musical & DJ chileno radicado en Francia, explorando las fronteras de la música tradicional y electrónica de raíz afrolatina y una pizca de sazón tropical latino 🌴😎✌.

Además de artista, Felipe Nadeau, el hombre detrás del personaje es gestor cultural y co-dirige los bellos proyectos musicales:  @CosmovisionRecords (Canada) & @RitmosDelSur (Chile) , difundiendo el amor por las nuevas formas de folklore y música electrónica de Latinoamérica y todo el mundo. Ambos proyectos con el objetivo de dar la bienvenida y unir a todas las personas a través del lenguaje universal de los ritmos de la Tierra.
