"Walk like you have 1,000 ancestors walking behind you..."

Thanks to one of the subscribers, I decided to take a closer look at the movie "Assassin's Creed" of 2016 and see if something can be done based on it.
In the process of creating this composition, while searching for the necessary dialogues and monologues, I came across the fact that while pronouncing the main oath of the assassins in modern times, the film's own music plays too loudly against the background, which prevents the use of these phrases in my work. But, after further research, I came across additional materials for the film, where Octavia Selena Alexandru is more actively involved in the plot, who plays Lara - a young girl assassin by blood, adopted and raised by the Templars. Deciding not to stop there, I began to study materials on the games of the "Assassin's Creed" series and found an oath performed by Ezio Auditore. Thus, it turned out to combine several heroes of this universe in one track, which I am very happy about.
Great thanks to Ariane Labed, Octavia Selena Alexandru, Roger Craig Smith, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Michael Fassbender for their wonderful voices and acting, as well as director Justin Kurzel and all the creators of this film and "Assassin's Creed" game series for their titanic work and inspiration!!!

Creed

This time I wanted to do something based on one of my favorite film trilogies that appeared at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Blade. One of the best vampire action movies of all time with an amazing soundtrack: how can you pass by?
In these films (especially in the first two parts) everything is great:
- the unsurpassed Wesley Snipes, who was perfect for this role, and the magnificent Kris Kristofferson, who played Whistler;
- charismatic villains: Stephen Dorff as Deacon Frost - he turned out to be a masterpiece vampire, Luke Goss as Nomak - an excellent and controversial character (I also want to mention Ron Perlman with his chic Reinhardt in the second film) and Parker Posey as Danica Talos - a pure diamond of the third film; 
- exciting battle scenes and a fantastic atmosphere.
I will definitely note those whose voices I used for this composition, but have not had time to mention yet: the incomparable N'Bushe Wright - she was Blade's partner Karen in the first movie and John Michael Higgins, who played Dr. Edgar Vance in the third part of the trilogy.
And even though Blade 3 loses to the masterpieces of the first two films in the series, it has its own memorable scenes and new interesting characters: Parker Posey, which I mentioned earlier, as well as new additions to the ranks of vampire fighters - Ryan Reynolds as Hannibal King, with his classic way of joking, and Jessica Biel as Whistler's daughter, Abigail. However, it seems to me that all three of these films were lucky with the cast.
I also want to thank all the directors for giving us this audience delight: Stephen Norrington - the director of the first movie, Guillermo del Toro - the director of the second film and David S. Goyer - the director of the third part of the trilogy, respectively. They have done an impressive job.
This composition is based on dialogue mostly from the first movie, but I enjoyed using different phrases from the next two parts to make a potpourri from the entire trilogy. This turned out to be much more interesting, in my opinion.
Also, I could not help but use elements of the techno hit Pump Panel ‎- Confusion, which has become strongly associated with Blade films. I thought that if you mix parts of it with a more melodic base, then something cool might come out.

For me, the TV series Westworld is a phenomenal event. Magnificent directing, an exciting script, beautiful characters and actors, along with a wonderful soundtrack, created one of the most interesting worlds on television and in the world culture in general. I thank all the creators and participants of this show for the dizzying impressions and inspiration!
With this track, I want to share my feelings about the dynamics and drama in this series, especially in the relationship between Bernard and Dolores, the creator and creation, that was one of my favorite storylines in Westworld. I was also impressed with the idea of ​​the Maze - a game that can lead to the emergence of a mind that knows its existence.
The beautiful and unforgettable voices of Jeffrey Wright and Evan Rachel Wood became the basis for this composition, helping to create a special atmosphere and impression.

The Maze

I have to admit, I wanted to make a musical story based on Zack Snyder's great movie "Sucker Punch" for a long time. Wonderful cast, amazing scenario and directing, and most importantly for me - the very interesting monologues and dialogues with the deep meaning. I found everything!
When in the second monologue of this composition, which delighted me at the very first viewing of this film in the cinema, Madame Gorski, played by the incomparable Carla Gugino, talks about dance - those words became for me a metaphor for any form of creativity and its great importance, including even the imagination within us. That was confirmed once again by the quote of Mark Twain, which was said, incidentally, by the same character later in the movie: "Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone, you may still exist, but you have ceased to live."
The words that we hear from the magnificent Abbie Cornish at the end of the picture tell us that you and only you are the master of your life and have everything to achieve the desired and realize all your dreams. And the whole movie with its battle scenes, performances, dialogues, and character stories, as well as the call of the heroines of Dr. Vera Gorski and Sweet Pea: "You have all the weapons you need. Now fight!" - are the expression of a magnificent, wise and at the same time simple thought: make and create your own life by yourself and right now because everything is in your hands, including such important tools as imagination and fantasy! 
Also want to note the charming  Jena Malone in the role of Rocket, which mischievous and provocative voice with the phrase "You're gonna wanna watch this..." adds a special playful mood and fervor in the composition.
Perhaps you will notice some similarities in the drum line of this music with one of the most known tracks of the awesome "The Prodigy" band. In the process of making this composition, I was interested to learn how to make a similar sound with such dense energy and drive, which, in my opinion, is very suitable for the style of the musical story based on "Sucker Punch" movie.
I thank all the creators and all the amazing cast of this great film for its stunning atmosphere, wise content and for the inspiration to bring this music here!

Once upon a time, it was with the composition "Under The Water" that my acquaintance with the work of Aurora Aksnes began. From the very first sounds, this amazing elf from Norway won me over with her voice and music. And the more I immersed myself in her sound, the more I realized the scale of the talent of this magical singer and her magnificent and professional team.
When I found an acapella for this song on the network, my joy knew no bounds, because now I had the opportunity to transfer my inspiration and delight that these wonderful musicians give me, into this remix, and thank them for everything that they make.
