High-Dere! This week we're "hot and ready" like Little Caesar and announce the launch of our Kickstarter campaign for our short horror film, Thoughtform. Before jumping out of the gate, we pay homage to legends, David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Lemmy Kilmister who've passed away in the last month... with a little surprise visit by Severus Snape of Harry Potter!

Nothing is safe as we debate the ridiculousness of the explosively popular Hoverboard, How to properly ride a unicycle and snapping your ankle while wearing Heelys. We talk about the importance of flowering your creativity, Take a stroll through the evolution of The Beatles and share Joe's cover of When I'm Sixty-Four. We get into some of the details about our Kickstarter campaign, how you can support and what all of this hard work has meant for ElfTree Media.

Between the contemplations of mother birds throwing up in their babies mouths and the importance of raising a child without tainted titty milk, Ian shares some amazing financial advice his mum instilled within him while growing up. High-Dere! This we get into a deep conversation about creating viral content, accidentally farting in public before veering back on track to share some very odd news about our Kickstarter campaign for our short horror film, Thoughtform.

Ian shares a story about when his dad scared the shit out of him, then we ponder how to deal with being overwhelmed, our love/hate relationship of studio theme songs and how they make impressions on our movie watching experience. Joe talks about one of his favorite books, The Four Agreements as well as an exclusive sketch he wrote, First Cousin Twice Removed. "Rumspringa!"

This week we put on our proverbial tuxedos and hit up the red carpet to chat about this year’s Oscar winners and why Michelle Tanner should completely avoid the Fuller House.

Out of the gate, we extend our right hands to congratulate Leonardo DiCaprio (Arnie Grape) for his first Oscar win for The Revenant and with the other, we take a puff and turn the Spotlight to the Academy for snubbing African American actors. We toss ourselves into the salvage yard and discuss the infamous Netflix documentary, Making A Murderer, and if WE think Steven Avery killed Teresa Halbach.

High-Dere Ep #72 | Impeacher Teacher

On this month’s FaceLifted episode of High-Dere, Ian & Joe discuss death of the old and birth of the new; evolving lives, stories, entertainment and crimes that make up this crazy-ass world we exist in.

Apparently Ian feels that to see his stolen stuff again would be akin to THE Disciples seeing Christ again after his death...or seeing Superman return to life after HIS death.  Crazy!

Then we dive into the death of creative productivity due to technical software issues and how they completely wreak havoc on our emotions, much like the Pepsi Fire that wreaked havoc on Michael Jackson's hair. ;)

We then hear about a BLOW-UP fight that happened between Ian & Joe and learn why High-Dere is important to them & why it’s crucial to have it stick around.

THEN we look at the hypocrisy that exists between the widely praised J-Lo and Shakira headlined Super Bowl LIV halftime show and the hubbub created by the (tame by comparison) wardrobe malfunction involving Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake for Super Bowl XXXVIII.

We wind down the show by talking about some incredibly interesting DocuSeries presented by Netflix.  Most of which deal with HEAVY topics like Murder, rage, the opioid crisis and Nazis.  Almost as fun as having to be the person who tells a sibling that their childhood hero died.  Yeah......

And just as a reminder, keep your eyes open.  All people in power "Poke the Bear" in one way or another; they've all done it.  That's no reason for an entire half of the country to completely unravel just to defeat the other half of the counrty.  We're all in this together, right?

High-Dere Ep #73 | Coolidge Did It!

This week on High-Dere, Ian & Joe self quarantine and record their first ever remote show from their separate studios as the COVID-19 virus slithers it’s way into the United States. Advised by the authorities to “self-quarantine,” we test out what could be a new remote process for the show during these unknown and strange times.

We question the news medias behavior, as we often do, of spreading fear among the masses as they cover this new strain of the Coronavirus and what we can do to stay aware of the bigger picture that could be playing out as we hide in our homes under our blankets. As the toilet paper and bread aisles leave us staring at empty shelves in grocery stores across the country, we do our best to understand what is unfolding right before our very eyes as the world comes to a historical halt.

Then we discuss the primary numbers and where we expect this election season to go as the tide turns against Bernie Sanders and leans in favor of whispery “Creepy Uncle Joe” Biden. We remind our listeners of the coup that was attempted against Trump, revealed through the DNC leak, and try to make sense of the sinister chaos to come. 

Lastly we breeze past the JFK assassination and laws that were changed in the aftermath of his murder and how taxpayer money is funneled through the murky and dodgy justice department.

We wish all of our listeners a safe and healthy quarantine as we continue to chase the light and expose the dark in this new reality together. We’re just two dudes in LA trying to make sense of what’s been happening and where we think things are going in this slow waking world we live in. This month on High-Dere, Ian and Joe stick with the quarantine in the midst of a celebration of April 20th....for NO special reason at all!!!

Everyone is still in quarantine.  And while it's only halfway through, it's bringing people together and creativity is flourishing in this world of isolation.  But that's not stopping people from wanting to know whats next.  We take a look at The White House's plan for Opening Up America Again while also hearing some questionable acceptabilities from Dr. Oz.

Then Joe introduces us to Out of Shadows, a documentary that eases its audience into a way of seeing the world and the shadowy side of the entertainment industry as a whole.

Then we turn on the I Am Sam soundtrack and have some Tea with Gary Vee, before watching Joe create the song "Blind Man Who Sees" on Instagram!

This week on High-Dere, Ian & Joe record live from the Wuhan wet market, I mean… Los Angeles, to deliver another action-packed episode, bringing you the latest on their quarantine lockdown. As the heavy hand of Covid-19 loosens it’s clammy grip on the world, we celebrate the new ElfTree Media Day with a company update!

Our eyes “well with the tears of our past” as we dip into the lack of continuity and suspension of disbelief while Harry Potter and friends disappear, unnoticed by muggles on Platform 9 3/4. 

We marvel at the differences between the elegant elves of Lord of the Rings and the mischievous wizard slave House Elves in the Harry Potter series and how the death of Dobby brought Ian to his emotional knees. We touch base with Val Kilmer and dip into a grab bag of topics such as how Joe got his start in music, the Jay and Silent Bob reboot, creepy Bill Gates, the strange condition of getting older and the recent deaths of Fred Willard, Little Richard and Roy Horn. *FUN FACT - Roy Horn was attacked by his tiger on Ian’s birthday.

Then, we scratch our heads because of Joe Biden’s middle name and if we think this bumbling hair sniffing politician will become the “official” DNC candidate in 2020. Joe shares an interesting conversation he has with a doctor who reveals some insight on the pandemic and possible hidden secrets behind the veil, including a possible sinister plan of high level Masons using the Bible as their guide to manipulate and control humanity. *Dun! Dun! Dun!* Could we be living in a Truman Show type reality where truth is waiting on the other side of a wall? Find out on todays “contaminated” episode of High-Dere!

High-Dere Ep #76 | EMD2.0

On this Older and Wiser episode of High-Dere Ian and Joe celebrate a birthday with a brew and a bowl before getting up to the same ole conversation shenanigans they’re “famous” for.

After Joe loses one entire side of a 15 minute conversation, the guys discuss age milestones and whether they feel “behind” their goals or not.  Things they’re combatting ultimately by doing things like updating the ElfTree Media site, getting Small Business Certification, putting out new music…all while surrounded with an ever changing medical, social and political climate; a perfect storm fitting for a year such as 2020.

They also talk about survival instinct, fight or flight and physical defense beliefs in a time where info analysis by members of QAnon reveals shocking truths and lies about the world around us on an almost daily basis.  This terrifying whirlwind is also combatted by self-awareness and busying ourselves with work that should hopefully bring us "All Together Now”

This week on High-Dere, Ian and Joe decide to close out the year in style by jingling all the way through an episode of grab bag madness. They most certainly earned their way onto Santa’s naughty list.
They kick things off with an apology to Tom Delonge after poking fun of Blink-182 while discussing UFO disclosure, a subject both are highly interested in. Joe provides a loose list of interesting topics to cover while Ian, per usual, does his best to keep up with the chaos. They question the legitimacy of the existence of Bigfoot, vaccine safety and the 2020 Election, while keeping their sites on self improvement, dealing with depression and what it means to be a hero.
Then they wrap things up with a little bow with some ElfTree Media updates, the latest Olivia Mabel developments, Joe’s newest Songbird EP, how much Ian loves Taylor Swift and end it with with some top secret not secret audio obtained from the set of Mission Impossible.

War!  This week on High-Dere.

But not before wishing Ian and Joe’s Moms Vivienne and Gayle.  We love birthdays.

And then our heroes go through the Wikipedia definition of War, and it’s informative to say the least.

The guys realize that when you get down to it, War is a very broad reaching phrase that is valid in many different arenas and applications.  And the different types of war, including Total War could be happening around us in many different ways without us even knowing they’re occurring….

War is something that has affected people throughout history, and from a certain point of view (Ben Kenobi) that’s no different than right now in 2020.  We just hope we aren’t truly in for a “Dark Winter”

This week on High-Dere, Ian and Joe invite fellow Amoviego Martyn on the show to wrap up the craziness that was 2020!  We promise, a 3rd "Year End" show is the charm!

We talk about the inversion of the moderate political and social opinion, just as long as you PICK a SIDE!  Martyn walks us through his process of learning the debt based system of the United States.  
Then we explore the vastness inside us all, accessible through prayer, manifestation, meditation....we are not the bodies that we inhabit,; but we ARE the product of the experiences our bodies have!!  
And like we did during "Chappie" we wonder where consciousness actually comes from.

2020 has been a year of a lot of pain and energies being expelled from people, a lot of them through actions and requirements completely outside the control of individuals entirely.

We re-visit Olivia Mabel and tease the upcoming content tied to the mystery of Footlights Ranch.
