Welcome to the next round fellow observers. Not so long ago, a young fella and his beautiful wife asked me on the beach of Balaton, if I would join his fresh nightclub for a monthly residency with long time DJ patner Infragandhi. We said yes, and started a sparking new night called, Museum of Modern Rituals. Always with a guest, probably with a live musician. The little but friendly club, called Ambient started its journey and we found a good cause to reach far out in the tremendously colorful world of electronic dance music, and deeper into the world, eastern, outernational, native, folktronic and abstract genres. Armin than closed the doors and started a more sunny part of his life, than suddenly sent me a mix, which i really liked. Of course we shared the same vibe in many ways, so the music we listened was no exception. Please welcome Armenian’s debut selection. First time on radiozora and to the world.

Zen Baboon are Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. Both were born in the '70s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the musical world, focusing on great sound quality and original construction.

Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a studio in Lisbon and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s.  Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm and started as an ambient DJ, (DJ Henriq) and producer in 2001.

They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Baboon.

Avatar Yoga Festival 2020

Born in Italy, Ludovica was immersed in the world of music from very young age, joining several small bands as a vocalist, engaging with singing circles and guitar, and attending numerous concerts and festivals throughout her university years in Rome. Graduated as a signal processing engineer, her journey led her to the Netherlands during the final year of her master's program. It was there, amidst Amsterdam's vibrant music scene, tha passion for music flourished in new directions leading to the start of her project Elfwings. She began to DJ, delving deeper into electronic music subcultures and Dutch and north European psytrance scenes. 
“ I got hooked with electronic music, cause I studied signals all these years and I understood them. Just electronic music brings a whole new dimension and experience to it, for me and the listeners!”.  

Fascinated by nature, yoga, simple living and travels, her recent journeys to India brought new insights in her spiritual and life journey, accompanied as well by an evolution as a musician and artist. 

With over four years experience as a DJ and a lifelong devotion to music, Elfwings explores the psychedelic sounds as inner and outer spiritual journey. She will release her first track as producer in 2024, stay tuned! 
Her sounds are a deep mix of dark and light, with organic and nature elements.  “I like to explore and create transcendent states of trance, through music”
