Audessey & aCatCalledFRITZ - BPM Instrumentals (Album Stream)

One of the best indie crews of the 90s revisit their classic track Bizm 20 years later, with production from Debonair P and cuts from 2Kool Tony.  This track appears on the Saran Rap EP dropping on vinyl mid-2105 from Heavy Crates.

I have been going thru some of my hard drives and found some songs that I forgot that I've produced.....so I figured I might as well share with folks and actually start an archive of songs on my Soundcloud page. I guess it's a nice way of showing & reminding people that I can make beats & produce....Haha!

In 2009, I dropped an album with my brother Jamall Bufford....you might know him as Buff1 & he's a member of the Athletic Mic League with super producer 14KT and singer you might know of: Mayer Hawthorne, as well as being in a group called The Black Opera with Magestik Legend.

Anyways, Jamall and myself formed a group called "Crown Royale" (thru the suggestion of Mayer Hawthorne & his manager/former MC Jackson Perry of "Now On") and dropped our self titled album on A-Side Worldwide/Fat Beats.  I was particular proud of this project because it was the first time that I did most of the production myself. Before we dropped the album, we wanted to give folks a taste of what to expect from us; so we dropped a Free EP courtesy of 2dopeboyz.  Most of the songs off the EP wasn't even featured on our official album.

This particular track from the EP featured the talented Kam Moye aka Supastition.  It was the first time that Jamall & Supa worked together and these guys sounded like they've been working together for a long time......I was also proud of this track because the production on this contained no samples.  I basically played all the melodies & bassline, did the arrangements, & of course the scratches.  I can't play an instrument for sh*t and this took me a long time to put this track together.  I was proud how it came out.

Glass Bottom Boat  is a duo consisting of long-time hip hop collaborators, Tone Dogg Raw and Cal-S-thetics.  They are proud to announce the release of their next project, an album titled "Definitive: A Year In The Nebula - Spring."  Braiding the seasonal concept of Renewal and Growth, Tone and Cal pick up from where they left off on "The Temple," their last album created a surprisingly long 12 years ago. With the help of producers Duke Westlake, Jeepz, EQ - Out the Ashtray of LA, Cal-S-Thetics, Kev Brown, Sumthin Gunny and Pos-Tone, as well as assistance with features by Dy Cy and DJ Handprints, Glass Bottom Boat continue to explore their unique artistic storytelling with this project, which acts as a resurgence while also paying respect and showing Appreciation for the beauty of creation.
