I feel that I should officially compliment you on this piece,  great atmosphere builds throughout doing what it was designed for, gets really good in the last 1/4, pity that couldn't have been developed a bit, but I know that wasn't the point of this piece, It nearly melts icebergs, not quite, but very nearly, a great work indeed.

Great touch with the vocal.  Meditation is absolutely in order here.

Who doesn't have fond memories of basement parties? Aluminum foil on the walls, styrofoam ceiling, disco ball and light organ. And late in the evening you dance tightly embraced to slow music. And besides the usual drinks, there was always a small group preparing egg pancakes in the kitchen 🤣 - Disco time, when the parents were out of the house, first love and lots of fun. What wonderful times back then...

The Tempus Collective are :

The Tempus Collective are a duo hailing from Glasgow/Scotland, consisting of Kevin Fleming (vocals and keys) and Stewart Grieve (Keys, programming and production). The boys first met at school and have been playing together since 1983. They got their first 4-track a few years later and have continued to be bedroom music makers ever since, except for a 10 year recess to attend to family life.

Over the years there have been various musicians who have joined the ranks but it remains a two piece outfit for the moment with guest  musicians joining the band for selected projects as they are required.

Influenced by the likes of The Blue Nile, David Sylvian,Thomas Feiner and similar melancholic artists, the Tempus sound is usually a subdued affair that could never be considered mainstream.

"We spend a lot of time on production, we always have, it's about making the best of what you have at the time, both in ability  and equipment and as the years have gone on, both have improved vastly. We always felt that one good sounding song was worth 10 poor ones !  That's what we strive for, That's where we always channeled our energies and it still is to this day."

Using Soundcloud as their main platform to showcase their music the boys have accumulated a decent following and gained a lot of confidence from the warm reception they have received from fellow musicians and music lovers alike....
