با روان‌مون بازی می‌کنن
تا تو این شرایط رَنده بشیم
مشکل ما با چن میلیون حله؟
کجا باید پناهنده بشیم؟ 

گفتم توی خمارِ چشمِ تو
کو انعکاسِ ترس‌های من  
آقازاده‌های لاتِ خوشبخت
دارن انگشت نشونمون می‌دن 

دستی توی انبوهِ موهاتو
دسته‌ای مو ریخته بر گردنی 
گرونی داره ما رُ‌ می‌دره
به صرفه‌س که آلمانی بزنی 

باهاس از ارقام تخیلی
دس به دامن داروخونه‌شم 
جمعِ‌ عُقلا که رام نمی‌دن 
بگم آدیوس و دیوونه‌شم

نصف شب بود و توی همهمه 
رفتی بالکن که هوا بخوری 
از این احمق‌تر نمی‌شن دیگه
می‌گی تا هر دفعه جا بخوری 

از صُب حرفِ مُف شنیدیم تا شب
این تفاهم نیس که تسامُحه 
ستاره‌هاشون مُشتی قلدرن  
سلیقه‌ی موسیقی‌شون گُهه 

جوک‌ساختن از خبرهای ناجور 
میمون‌بازی در جهانِ سوم 
راهم بده به حریم امنت
تا حد ممکن دور از این مردُم 
 
آخرای مهمونی بود از رقص
کفشای رو فرش و پا درد به جا 
ما نسلی هستیم که رفتیم پایین
گرچه گفتیم نوش تا بریم بالا 

تنها قانونی که رعایت کردن
این بود که وقتی می‌خرن بخر  
داشتیم با هم از عشق می‌گفتیم
که گفتن دلار رفت بالاتر

that the dollar crisis came up
We were on our way to modernity,
Unfortunetly we got held up

They toyed with our lives,
Just so we'd get shredded to pieces
Can we make it there with a few million tomans?
Where should we seek asylum?

I said, "where's the reflection of my fears, 
In the haze of your sleepy eyes?"
Punk rich kids going out
Showin' the finger to all of us

Running fingers through your hair,
Some strings are laying on the neck
The high cost of living is tearing us apart, 
You'd be better off gettin' a german haircut

I had to seek help from the drugstores, 
Because of these unbelivable prices
I have no place among the intelligent ones, 
Better to say adios and go crazy once

It was midnight and you went to get some air
Through all that noise
They don't get dumber than this, 
Still you'd get surprised anyway

We listened to nonsense all day long, 
This isn't an agreement, it's tolerance, that's all
Their superstars are a bunch of bullies
Their taste in music is shit

They made jokes about unpleasant news 
Monkeys in an underdeveloped country
Let me in, to your safe haven, 
Further away from these people

It was at the end of the party, 
Shoes on the floor and feet that hurt
We were the generation that stumbled down
Though we kept on saying "drink and smoke till you get high"

The only law they abided was that
They must buy when they are told to buy
We were talking about love 
That they said the value of dollar has gone up
