One Eye Closed

It’s 2073. You just launched off on an experimental space deployment to the nearest manned space base. You miss your family. You look down at your intergalactic positioning system and tap “ETA”. It reads “12/7/2074.” 

This song begins to play over your music transferring chip that you had implanted last spring, as you continue to travel at light speed through the vacuum. You feel nothing.
