Electronic magic - that is what we call it. The synths are soft but straight, the clap is coming smooth and blows your mind away. Welcome Betoko on Einmusika. We don’t need to introduce the Mexican producer based in London, we just tell you, that the sun is back with these sounds coming up in April. "Phobik" is mystic and wide open - a real summer track without redunant parts. You’ll simply get lost during the break and you’ll need a deep breath after it. Be prepared, "Botox" isn’t that circumspect. It is minimalistic and straight in the beginning but after a few seconds you are back in the good old times of Techno. Less light, more night. The track reminds you of a video game sound, quick and metallic. When it stops, we have "A Long Story Short" with a bleeping start and a warm melody combined with techy synths and a dark backdrop. It’s like a chemical reaction - not easy to get out of your mind and your body. So, that is what we call magic - simply infecting.

In-demand producer Flashmob delivers a masterful two-piece assault on his Hot Creations debut, entitled The Lone Brazilian.

The EP opens with the title track, fronting a funk-laden bassline and percussive, driving drums. Tribalistic male and female chants break the track up, adding depth to the unfolding journey. Next up, Lower Level supplies a deeper trip. A tight, assertive drum track counterparts a short, wandering bassline to form a settled, rolling feel.

Italian artist Flashmob, real name Alessandro Magani, is a renowned producer and remixer, label owner and touring DJ. Since 2011 he’s released on the world’s biggest labels, such as Get Physical, Defected, Kompakt, Snatch!, to name a few, and now delivers his bespoke sound for Hot Creations.

Claptone is a unique proposition in modern music. He has however constantly sought to deepen his own distinctive world, creating a rich tapestry, which tells the Claptone story.

In his second artist album ‘Fantast’, the Claptone universe is at its deepest and most vivid. He is the master of his domain and in his most artful offering yet, the assured 13 tracks of 'Fantast' come together to create an album full of varied colours and atmospheric textures.

In music Claptone seeks not to create a world of secrecy, but one of great depth and intrigue. An enigma with a tireless desire for creativity and thirst for new music, Claptone has brought together a diverse group of collaborators such as Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke, Blaenavon, Tender, Jones, Zola Blood, Austra’s Katie Stelmanis, The Boxer Rebellion’s Nathan Nicholson, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Joan as a Policewoman and Matt Simons.  

'Over the last two years it has been a great pleasure to work on this album as a counterpoint to the hectic world of travelling as a DJ. To lose myself when making music, to dive into and create my very own realm of beauty. I admit it's a dreamy, a heartfelt, at times a naive and surely escapist album, but what to do if one - on the quest for his soul - develops a strong desire to go back to his roots, back to nature? Did I find myself on that journey? Rather not. But I found some beautiful moments in the green, out in the woods, out in the fields, under the moon and in the night, moments, which I want to share with you. And there is one thing I learned and now it can be told, I am and have always been a ‘Fantast’.'

The first single 'In The Night' features the vocals of Ben Duffy, which paired with Claptone’s insistent and upbeat production, makes for an exquisitely executed electronic pop gem. It marks an engaging opening snapshot for what will be a milestone in his already glittering career.

'When would I return if not in the night? What would our love look like, if not with you letting me go? Which song will you be humming when thunder and lightning are coming?'

We caught a glimpse of his ambition to produce a body of work in Claptone’s debut artist album 'Charmer' which has scored over 60million streams and counting, but it’s in 'Fantast' that Claptone really delves deeper into the art of songwriting. 

2018 will see another intense year of touring as a DJ with Claptone taking his immersive 'The Masquerade' event experience further, having built momentum over the last 18 months hosting events and stages in Los Angeles, Berlin, Paris, Melbourne, Barcelona and New York and at festivals like Tomorrowland, Melt Festival, Elrow at Amnesia Ibiza, Green Valley in Brazil.

Circulating on a very Ltd white label and already receiving big love from names like François Kevorkian, Kolsch, Dj Koze, Andrea Oliva, Rampa, Soul Clap and Pete Tong, who played it as 'Essential New Tune' on his BBC Radio 1 Show, it’s finally out now !

Mixing jazz with techno and house, 'Don't Forget To Go Home' is a collaboration with the internationally renowned drumming virtuoso, percussionist, composer Billy Cobham and Nicolosi Production. The Jazz fusion pioneer has dedicated his whole life to musical exploration and creative expression,  working with artists like Miles Davis, Horace Silver and George Benson. A percussive loop and the sub b-line make you dance to the breakdown  when the rhodes and the strings come and the track explodes.The Nicolosi brothers, well known in the international jazz scene, deliver a beautiful cinematic Ambient mix full of emotion and intensity.
 
Since 2015 Emanuel Satie has been building his name through a series of considered dancefloor cuts on renowned labels. His rework of Late Nite Tuff Guy’s remix of DJ Le Roi & Roland Clark’s ‘I Get Deep’ is a former Beatport N.1, while in 2016 he received the ‘Best Producer’ award in Ibiza at the DJ Awards.  He says 'I made it as the final track of the night in mind, something you play in the morning to send people home with a good feeling and it's also a reference to the legendary Robert Johnson  in Offenbach, where i spent many nights. I had the atmosphere of the club in mind while I was making the tune and there was always a sign on the wall reading these words'
