Having released the highly acclaimed Rivers/Tokyo ASMR on Crosstown Rebels last year, Berlin’s Emanuel Satie returns to the label this March with the powerful Personal Liberation EP, showcasing the deep and emotive characteristics that Emanuel brings to his accomplished productions. Tribal-esque percussion leads the way in title track "Personal Liberation", progressing with haunting synths, dramatic keys and a hypnotising vocal. A track that subtly builds throughout, "Keys to Jupiter" is a moody yet blissful cut of electronic excellence, enhanced with divine piano keys. Last up, "Somewhere Else In Time" is a trippy and robotic number with break-beat style percussion and stirring synths.

German DJ and producer, Butch, makes his long overdue return to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint this summer with his brand new single, 'Same Like Dope But Different'. Having spent the last two decades honing and refining his sound, Butch has released on a remarkable list of well-established labels in the scene including Play It Say It, Cocoon, Diynamic, Moon Harbour, CircoLoco, DCLTD, Cecille and more. Few artists flow through genres and emotional landscapes with such ease and fluidity as Butch, challenging preconceptions of the dancefloor and the expected outcome in the process. As an artist, he's always allowed himself to express his take on each genre – it's true that with Butch, you never know what to expect, other than consistently fresh and unique output. Following releases on Prins Thomas’ labels Full Pupp & Rett I Fletta and the seductive ‘Me To You’ on Eskimo Recordings at the end of last year, ‘Find My Love’ marks the return of Oslo-based production pair Trulz & Robin to our beloved label. ‘Find My Love’ features the vocal funk from the renowned Ost from diynamic duo Ost & Kjex. It‘s another quality example of the exciting things that are happening in the Norwegian club scene nowadays. The uplifting original comes with a darkly sensual, slow-burning groovy remix by Israeli-born, Berlin-based producer Moscoman. Still looking.. 

‘Find My Love’ will feature on The Orange Collection, the latest installment in a new compilation series on Eskimo based around colours.

The second cut, “Love Machine,” is a paramount piece of funkiness, with rutilant guitar riffs bumping rumps with a tender groove. It’s nearly impossible not to catch a feeling from this feverish offering.

Lemon & Herb is a trio of producers/djs from KZN (Kwazulu Natal Province in South Africa), namely Don Sithole, Skhumbuzo Radebe and Thansanqa Ntintili. 

Ocha Records is excited to present to you their debut full-length release. It includes the hits, "Velani", "Heaven" and "For the Birds" as well as some amazing new tunes that should find a place on your playlist for months and years to come. 

Lemon & Herb's first release on Ocha Records, "Velani" was supported and beaten into submission by Osunlade, Louie Vega and Black Coffee, to name a few of DJs that we love. Other DJs that supported this moving song included, Culoe de Song, Master Kev, Danny Krivit, Simbad, and Atjazz. But even before that success, they had already won a remix contest for their work on the Atjazz and Robert Owens tune "Love Someone".

Rising talent Tibi Dabo, aka Max Guardans, brings his distinct and eloquent production to Rebellion this Summer with two tracks that will set dance floors alight across the globe. Title track La Dorada creates a brooding atmosphere with synths that weave together over industrial drum pads and an intricate, twinkling melody that descends into a crescendo of percussion. No Mantra adds a touch of elegance, with sparkling drum patterns and dreamy keys. Tibi Dabo explains that the title track is also the “the name of my childhood home near Barcelona”. By connecting his music and his hometown, or “safe space” as he calls it, he says he “can personally feel a close relationship between the two”.

Tibi Dabo emerged on the scene with his first release Ende, picked up by Sasha and signed to his renowned imprint, Last Night On Earth. Having made the move from his home of Barcelona to the musical mecca of Berlin, Dabo creates infectious soundscapes that showcase his ability to conjure up music that plays out an abstract story. Having received a coveted Essential New Tune spot from Radio 1 tastemaker Pete Tong, and now signing to Damian Lazarus’ label, Tibi Dabo’s star is set to rise as he becomes ever-bold in his musical output.

After releasing the ‘High Life' remixes just before summer and their more electronic EP on Aus Music, it’s time to get label heads Detroit Swindle back on Heist. They come in with full force, delivering a set of Swindle styled house tracks, accompanied by a jazzy remix by Volcov in his Isoul8 moniker with guest appearances by Kaidi Tatham on keys and Nigel Bennett on vocals.  
 The EP kicks off with ‘The life behind things’; a life affirming soulful house tune that’s cleverly built around a set of switching organ stabs. The energy in this track keeps on building with the filter slowly opening up while live percussion oozes its way through the track (courtesy of Mauskovic Dance Band member Chris Bruining). After a well working surprise acid break, the track breaks down into a jazzy organ solo by Byron the Aquarius, building up momentum till the full track comes back in for a ecstatic delivery of feel-good dancefloor emotions. 
 The second original of this ep is Detroit Swindle’s view on what a party-starting piano house track should sound like with ‘Music for clubs’. This track is all about rolling drums, lush piano stabs and possibly the funkiest baseline in four-to-the-floor house music. The latter two are made possible by the quick finger work of their live show collaborator and close friend Lorenz Rhode.  
 The full B side goes to Volcov’s remix of “The life behind things”. He takes his inspiration from the energy of the original and chooses to set a steady groove where the lush key work of Kaidi Tatham shines both on the chords and a muscle-flexing organ solo. The vocal sample from the original is accompanied by some great ad-libs by Nigel Bennett. With these elements working together in perfect harmony, you can practically feel the good vibes these 3 friends had when recording the remix. 
 It’s been on our to-do list for a while to record a full-on house record, and we hope this one does the trick for you as much as it does for us. 
 If you’d happen to be around town during ADE this year, you can get this record a week ahead of its worldwide release exclusively at our Pop up shop on Elandsgracht 55. Apart from the record, we’ll have a limited edition collaboration collection available with Amsterdam-based streetwear brand Baskèts, loads of DJ’s playing sets and you could also just come by for a drink or two.
