In recent years, Just Her has deservedly carved out a niche as one of electronic music’s go to producers, with a sound and style full of emotional depth. It has seen her release tracks on a slew of notable labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Global Underground, Anjunadeep, Circus, Sincopat, her own Constant Circles imprint – and of course Selador, where she makes a welcome return with this essential double header (fresh from having a track featured on Sasha’s acclaimed Luzoscura album we might add).
A long-time lyricist and topline writer, Just Her is now increasingly adding her own vocals to her productions. “It’s not easy sharing something as personal as your own lyrics and vocals with the entire world, but hopefully I’m creating something people can connect to.” That Is most definitely the case with ‘Will We Ever Learn’, whose words are very pertinent to the turbulent times we are currently experiencing, bemoaning as it does the mindset of “closing doors and building walls” that is stunting progress and pushing back against hard-fought for freedoms. The low-slung musical backdrop is suitably stirring, hitting that sought after sweet spot where melancholy meets uplift.
“I just want to move people in the way music moves me” is one of Just Her’s guiding mantras, and it’s very much mission accomplished with second cut ‘Away From Here’, which is edgy yet emotive, moody yet melodic – just how we like it.
Just Her will be joining Selador’s Steve Parry and Dave Seaman, and the inimitable Danny Howells, for the launch of our Seladoria club concept – all roads lead to London’s E1 club on Friday September 24th.

'We are proud to present the first official release of the very talented dj & producer Felipe van Lagerback based in Amsterdam.

After winning the X-mass Instruments for Change Remix Contest with his smashing remix we dove into his music production library. This resulted in the instant love for his track called 'Trust'.

This 7 minute epic melodic / Italo banger including his own almost opera sounding vocals gave us ghost bumps all over when we heard it for the first time. The dirty fat bass line and arpeggio’s give it that exact typical punchy dance floor experience. The song is created after a personal experience driving through the mountains with his girlfriend. Can you feel the urgency?

Lucky for you the legend Marcus Meinhardt took the remix duties this time. He delivered an even more straightforward dance floor destroyer than the original.'

UK-based DJ and producer Jon Gurd shares his ‘Phoenix’ remix package, featuring new mixes from Swedish techno star Ida Engberg, renowned producer and engineer Steven Weston and Anjunadeep label up-and-comer Tagavaka.

Released in April this year, Jon’s album ‘Phoenix’ showcased his impeccable production style, and gained him praise from tastemakers including Joris Voorn, Lane 8, Eelke Kleijn and Sultan + Shepard.

An internationally-renowned DJ and producer, Ida Engberg makes her Anjunadeep debut with her remix of ‘Emergence’, transforming the original into a nine-minute, after-hours track. From playing mainstage at some of dance music’s biggest festivals, including Tomorrowland, Awakenings and Ultra Miami, to playing residencies in party island Ibiza, Ida’s positioned herself as a key tastemaker within the techno and deep house scenes.

GRAMMY-nominated producer, songwriter and engineer Steven Weston delivers a serene remix of ‘Let Go’. Leading with cascading synths and syncopated chords, Steven offers a fresh take on the original. He released his Anjunadeep debut EP ‘Alter The Flow’ earlier this year which was quickly playlisted on Sirius XM Chill. The EP has gained over 1.3m streams across Spotify and Apple Music to date, adding to an already impressive list of support from tastemakers including John Digweed, Sasha and CamelPhat and plays on KCRW, Rinse FM and RTE2, to name a few.

Scottish producer Tagavaka stamps his mark on ‘Let Me Go’, utilising the original melodies and adding an array of percussion and organic sounds throughout. With previous releases on the label including ‘Sky’, ‘Extrapolate EP’, and ‘Water EP’, Tagavaka’s euphoric productions have been supported by artists including Adam Port, Eelke Kleijn and Lane 8.

The remix package is closed with Joseph Ashworth’s thundering remix of ‘Emergence’, released earlier this year.

The autumn has arrived and we are ready to start the dark and sweaty club season with SNOEflakes #2. Again four various and immensely talented artists are presented in the format that successfully brought you some of the biggest hits this summer.

In the second edition of SNOEflakes label boss Andreas Henneberg’s “Confusion” is right on point. A powerful track combining strong synths and an interestingly misleading and fascinating vocal, building some big momentum as it moves forward. Not Usual continues in a lighter mood with “Tasty”, a proper Tech-House banger serving us feisty percussions and an incredibly catchy groove. A new edition on SNOE, Alec Troniq is setting the standard of what to expect from him with “We’ve Been 1000”. The track shows his mastery of uplifting, proper club music through its strong characteristics made up by the solid bassline and the crooked and, oh so charming, synth work. Our Dutch friends Kamara’s track “Motor City” perfectly rounds up the EP with it’s addictive groove rolling climaxing in a dreamy break taking it to the next level. Montreal artist @Kora-musique takes the next steps for recently launched New York label Earthly Delights, an imprint centred on spotlighting talents pushing the boundaries of electronic blends. The Canadian producer and DJ picks up the mantle from Yor Kultura, who provided the labels first release in a three tracker titled 'Odyssey'. Kora comes to the label after the well received 'Nuit D'Afrique' and 'Ovo' on Kindisch in November. He treats Earthly Delights to two original cuts in 'Fragile' and 'Vayu'. The pair have already seen much support  from the likes of Acid Pauli, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Schories, as well as heavy rotation on the playa. White Ocean founder Timujin supplies the remix action, reworking his own top notch version of 'Fragile'. Today, we're very excited to present to you in full premiere 'Fragile' in its original mix. This is an incredibly emotive cut, which fuses two distant worlds in one exquisite concoction. Soft pads, beautiful rhythms and a distinct eastern vibe mark the latest footprint in the journey of the young music maker. Release date - January 16th, 2017.

Um kulturelle und vielfältige Musik zu veröffentlichen, haben sich die Macher für eine EP des Kanadiers @kora-musique, der bereits auf Kindisch publizierte, entschieden. Am 16. Januar 2017 soll seine Deep-House-Kollektion „Fragile“ in digitaler Version erscheinen. Gleich der Opener der EP, „Vayu“, ist ein wunderschön strukturiertes Werk geworden, das von einer melodischen Wärme überschwemmt wird. Acid Pauli - BLD Remixes B 

Acid Pauli’s album BLD dropped last year and was a superb reminder of Martin Gretschmann’s unique place within the electronic music.
Breathing musicality and adventurousness into everything that he does, the album covered a number of moods and emotions, from dystopian carnivalesque vibes to moments of high intensity, through to deep melancholia and synth laden ambience.

Following on from the “A” remix package, “B” brings another huge selection of producers into the fray to reinterpret the originals.

First up, Hamburg hero Stimming works over 'Amadou' - flipping the original, into a techy bomb. A thick kick underpins a shuffling, off kilter rhythm and beautifully treated melodics. Stimming’s feel for gently pushing the dancefloor into new places shines through.

'René' is reworked by Roman Flügel, the Ongaku/Klang/Playhouse boss whose influence on the European electronic music scene has been immense. Always willing to experiment, 'René' is the perfect canvas - arpeggiated blips and beeps echo primitive electronic explorations by the likes of Francis Bebey, and a huge subby kick drum take this track into space.

Axel Boman sets to work on 'Jeanne', locking into his signature groovy, tribal approach to working the dancefloor. The Swedish producer adds dubby elements, an irresistible percussion track and disruptive, random sounds to the thick, heady mix.

Dutch wunderkind Satori tackles 'Jorge' - twisting the original into a psychedelic groover that finds room for backwards vocals, marimba-like melodies, fat basslines and shuffling breakbeats.

Lastly, label co-founder Nico Stojan remixes 'Verbos', and finds a way to twist it into an energetic yet deep dancefloor burner.

Booka Shade unite with emerging live act UNDERHER to deliver ‘Chemical Release’, dropping via Blaufield this March ahead of their 2019 Australia & NZ tour.
Booka Shade reveal “We fell in love with the sound of UNDERHER when we heard their remix of our song ‘Confessions’, and instantly knew we wanted a collaboration with them”. Following this remix last year, UNDERHER now return to Blaufield alongside the imprint bosses to unveil ‘Chemical Release’.
The resulting collaboration pairs UNDERHER’s trademark lyricism with Booka Shade’s high-quality production, in a driving ode to obsessively intense new relationships. It comes out in a package that includes an original and radio mix, plus remixes from each act - allowing both Booka Shade and UNDERHER to explore their own individual styles.
UNDERHER are a live electronic duo comprised of Tunisian-Canadian former DJ and tech enthusiast Kalden Bess & Italian-Canadian classically trained singer / songwriter Jessica Abruzzese. Their sensual take on deep electronica has landed them official remixes for the likes of Moby and U2, as well as gigs at respected venues including Stereo Montreal, Katerblau Berlin and Blue Marlin Dubai.
