Joseph Ray, a GRAMMY-winning producer and member of the electronic trio NERO, has unveiled his latest EP titled 'A Power Over Me' following the successful release of singles including 'Blue Nights', 'Cos Of You', and 'Give Me A Reason'.

The EP features new single ‘A Power Over Me’, featuring Elliot Vast's thought-provoking vocals complemented by delicate piano melodies and groove-filled percussion. Joseph’s expansive production style, which has garnered support from esteemed artists including DJ Kobe, Solomun, Pete Tong, Huneee, and more, is prominently displayed throughout the five-track EP.

The artwork for the EP borrows from the iconic ‘90s UK nightlife photography of Dave Swindells, serving as a nod to the pulsating energy of UK house and jungle music that has influenced Joseph Ray’s latest EP.

“I remember seeing Dave's Ibiza '89 book a while back and loving the imagery. Anjuna had been in touch with him more recently, and it was great to find out he'd be open to providing some of his photography as artwork for the EP. The EP’s singles, including ‘Blue Nights’, ‘Cos Of You’, and ‘Give Me A Reason’, have amassed over 400,000 streams and plays on KissFM, KCRW and Slam!FM. This is in addition to Joseph’s 2021 collaborative album ‘Leave the Bones’, written and recorded with Haitian band Lakou Mizik. The album has been celebrated by the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Worldwide FM, Billboard and The Times and showcased just how versatile Joseph is to an international audience.

Berlin-based producer and live act Nils Hoffmann releases his latest single “Lonely”, and will be launching his new Phenomena project with its first EP to be released July 28 on Anjunadeep.

In this new single, Nils collaborates with talented British singer-songwriter Rae Morris, who is known for her previous work with Lane 8 on the track ’No Fun’ and acclaimed by Clash, NME and The Guardian. Nils pairs Rae Morris' heartfelt vocals with warm synths characteristic to his sound, creating a pop-influenced summer anthem.

The Phenomena EP series is a new ongoing project for Nils to release music that feels fitting for the present moment.

“There's so much beautiful music that I'm excited to share with you in the future,” said Nils, “which leads me to my new Phenomena releases. While working towards my next album, there are some tracks that I just couldn't wait to release. Maybe the inspiration felt too current to save, or the tunes felt appropriate for the season, this project will give me a running series to keep things fresh.”

Nils described his inspiration behind the single, saying “"Lonely", features  a beautiful vocal from Rae Morris. I made this for my live sets, and it was inspired by the highs and lows of my first headline tour this past winter. Going from the euphoria of performing to sleepless nights in hotels around the world is quite an experience, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.”

Nils’ latest single follows the release of his highly praised album ‘A Radiant Sign’ which has amassed over 20m streams and radio support on BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM Chill, KCRW and more. The album reached #1 on iTunes Dance and was championed by the likes of Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn and Eelke Kleijn, to name a few.

This summer, Nils is embarking on an extensive tour, with over 30 shows across Europe and the USA. His performances included renowned events including Tomorrowland, ABGT Weekender at the Gorge and Anjunadeep Open Air at The Brooklyn Mirage.

Franky Wah, one of the UK’s most prominent breakout dance acts to emerge in recent years, makes a return to Anjunadeep with the release of ‘Call My Name’ feat. Rae Morris. The single is part of Franky’s upcoming ‘Call My Name EP’, scheduled for release on August 9 via Anjunadeep.

Nils Hoffmann shares the next single, and title track, from his forthcoming album ‘Running In A Dream’. The single is a collaboration with Swedish producer Kasbo and features vocals from Australian singer-songwriter Vancouver Sleep Clinic.

Moulded by German electronic music culture and his own classical training, music has always been a part of Nils’ life. Highlighting the ever-evolving sound of the label, Anjunabeats is proud to welcome Tinlicker for their first single outing.

Bringing a dance floor sensibility to the deeper end of the electronic spectrum, the Dutch duo Jordi van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer have courted the attention of global labels and tastemakers since breaking out in 2013. Able to turn their hand to deep house, techno and electro, the pair have reworked the likes of Lane 8 and Deadmau5; their stunning update of Reflekt ‘Need To Feel Loved’ becoming a sought after mix among fellow DJs over the last 12 months.

Having played every stop of the Anjunabeats 17 date North American tour this Spring, their first single on the label partners them with Run Rivers (Chris James) for ‘Lost’. With previous collaborations including DJ Shadow and Joe Ashworth, Chris adds a yearning quality to the rolling grooves of ‘Lost’.

TInlicker explains how the collaboration came about, “The first track we tried to make with Chris just didn't want to succeed and then suddenly out of the blue this gem appeared. The power of almost giving up, but persevering comes through in the song”.
